beautiful boat, sleek and graceful look to it. The craftsman is a true artist, I can't even get dowel joints to line up right with a jig to drill them! I did not see a metal fastener in the hull build, so I am assuming there will not be worries about the metal rusting and failing. Hopefully the types of wood will endure well, be resistant to rot and the boat last a long time. Very simple tools with enormous energy and thinking prove how much can be accomplished.

This is so impressive, age old methods still in use today, a very large vessel for one man to build, an electric planer and a drill being the onld modern tooles used.
No steel fastenings to rust and destroy the timbers, should last for 50 years plus. A wonderful boat, may god keep her safe.
