I was just watching your video of The Great CONWAY TWITTY and where he is buried. I already knew this and have always wanted to comment. I was so upset, saddened, and just couldn't believe he was no longer with us. Now the time has passed but I still can't take away those same feelings. I can still hear his music, his Wonderful Voice, I get those goose bumps, it's like he is right beside me. I am so sorry there wasn't MORE DONE FOR THIS GIANT AND LEGEND OF COUNTRY MUSIC. HE WAS SO DESERVING OF MUCH MUCH MORE!!! EVEN FOR HIM MORE COULD NEVER BE ENOUGH. FOR MYSELF HIS MUSIC, HIS ONE OF A KIND VOICE WILL NEVER EVER BE GONE...I LOVE YOU CONWAY. R.I.P, YOU ARE SO MISSED,but YOUR MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE. REST MY LOVE ON YOU AWHILE...❤🙏🙏🙏🙏❤
Man, this one hits close to home. My oldest sister is a HUGE Conway fan (she had Hello Darlin' as her answering machine message for like 20 years). His music takes me back to childhood. I remember when he died. My sister was a total wreck, of course, and that day just sticks out in my mind.
"The best friend a song ever had!" How he was always introduced in concert. I've been to at least a dozen of his concerts and he was always a no-nonsense artist. Hardly talked at all, but that voice... thank you!!
My family has always loved Conway Twitty. Growing up my mother had framed photos of him around the house. We went to Twitty City when I was very young. Thank you for the memories of this talented man.
My parents introduced me to Conway when I was a child. One of the most unique voices in the history of country music. He had a true gift. Thanks for doing this, Scott! Loved it!
Rest in Peace Conway,RIP🙏🙏🙏 He was one of the best country crooners ever Scott..I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert with George Jones & Ricky Skaggs shortly before his death at the now demolished "Market Square Arena"in Indianapolis,Ind.Great show .☮️✌️✌️🙏
My Mom and Dad loved Conway and Loretta. I know all his songs from my childhood. My parents have passed so I miss them and thank them for sharing something that meant so much to them. Its only make believe great song. My parents went to the concerts every time they were close to Dallas, Texas. Thanks Scott ❤
Scott this one means a lot. My dad was a big Twitty fan. He wanted to visit Conway during one of our Tennessee trips in the mid 90s to see my mom's sister. We never made it down since my aunt lived between Knoxville and Nashville.
This means the world to me Conway was my nanny’s favorite singer and I grew to love him myself. He was gone way to soon. Sending lots of love and gratitude for your videos.❤❤❤
My dad (now 88) was a big fan of old school country. So when I was a kid I heard a lot of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Anne Murray, Charlie Rich, Barbara Mandrell, Merle Haggard, Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Brothers, etc. While growing into my teen/young adult years, my musical tastes leaned more towards pop music, Soul/R& B, and rock. For many years I never listened to country music; but now that I'm in my 50's, I've been gravitating towards listening to the classic country songs I heard as a child. I don't care for the more modern country that became popular in the 90's though today's music. One of my favorite Conway Twitty duets with Loretta Lynn is "You're the reason our kids are ugly." 😂 They had such a great rapport. 💛
Scott, my parents and grandparents listening was the first time I heard Conway Twitty! What a singer he was amazing. Gosh thank you f hi r doing this great story on him.
I love country music and Conway Twitty was one of the first country singers that drew me to it. The first time I ever listened to country music and fell in love with it was in 1976 when I was working at a nursing home in Chicago. All the radios in the residents' rooms were always playing country songs (I think the aids were putting it on). Wow, I didn't know he got his name from two cities. Very interesting. Country singers are just down-home kind of people and I think that's why I like them so much. What a beautiful mausoleum he is in. It's nice that he is low enough for his fans to see his grave easily. Glad you found a place for your rock 😊 RIP Conway.
My love for Country music also came because that's all my dad listened to in the 60s and 70s. Conway was a huge name back then and he'll forever be missed. Thanks for the awesome video, Scott.
You grew up just like me, Scott…my parents loved the 50s-70s music especially old country music like Hank Snow, Hank Williams Sr….and of course, Conway Twitty!
Your production, and one fellow college student in June 1997 doing a report on Conway Twitty in Speech Class Freshman Year, is pretty much the only exposure I have had about this man. Interesting and very nice of you to do a vlog about him. I have heard his music, and it is very, very good. But that was all the info I had was from your vlog and the student's speech.
He was performing in Branson just before he died. Loretta was on her way there to see the progress of her theater she was having built. I remember seeing his bus out in front of the hospital where he died. If I remember correctly, Loretta arrived shortly after he passed.
Very respectful visit to a country music legend. It’s amazing how a performer’s music can bring up so many memories, as you mention it did for you of your parents. It was very touching of you to share that with us. Your love for your parents is always present in your videos and what a lasting tribute it is to their memory. Rest in peace to Mr. Twitty and your parents. Appreciate you & take care.
One of my top 3 country singers of all time. I'm from Kentucky and I'm all about good 70s and 80s country music. One of my home state Icons Loretta Lynn had many songs with Conway.
I'M A GAL FROM THE VERY EARLY 70'S {URBAN} MY GRANDMOTHER USE TO LISTEN TO COUNTRY LORETTA LYNN, CRYSTAL GAYLE, ALABAMA, KENNY ROGERS ETC R.I.P .... THANKS FOR SHARING
Thanks for looking for Conway Twitty grave and sharing it with us. I know it makes it more interesting to find the locations yourself. I was one of those guys yelling at you stop going in circles and don't go inside. I lived in the Nashville area for over 20 years. If I was with you Scott I would of lead you to him. I've seen his grave. I hope you got a chance to visit Johnny Cash's grave down the road in Hendersonville TN. Also on a closing note I hope that a worker would pick up that bag of trash on the ground very disrespectful. Great job my friend 👍
My Bestie surprised me in March with a visit to my all time favorite Conway , also saw George " the Possum " Jones, Johnny Cash and Johnny Paycheck, plan on another trip to see more ❤
@@monsterglo I can tell you a fun fact. When Johnny Paycheck passed away he had no money, so George Jones paid for his gravesite and stone which isn't much of a headstone just a small plaque. That's why that they are buried near each other
The way you handled the Yummy video was amazing. You always do a tremendous job taking us along and making us feel like we are there with you but there was the potential for controversy in that video and I think you were the perfect guide to really break down all the tragedy in such a respectful way.
My hometown! You just passed my great aunts plot there in the mausoleum. Twitty City was a sight to behold. We would go as family back in the 80s every year around Christmas. It was magical!
It's those new contacts you were talking about! 😂 Why do they have flowers on Conway Twitty's sons future resting place if he hasn't passed? Thanks for taking us along on this trip.
Hi Scott! I grew up in Conway's era too! Still love listening to his music! A voice like no other! Thank you for bringing us to his grave. You are the BEST! Sending lots of Love your way! 🥰❤✌
I met Conway in Reno when he was touring with George Jones and Merle Haggard. George and his family were sitting next to us at a lunch area. George and his family started talking to us. In walks Conway to talk to George. George introduced me and my husband to Conway! My husband and I were blown away! Such a very nice man and so very humble. A huge loss.
Thank you so much for doing a video on Conway Twitty I remember the day he passed away. I cried so much. I hope you do one on Loretta Lynn my parents was the same way. It was all country music when I was growing up I remember seeing him from my 11th birthday him and Loretta Lynn great video😊
My dad always sang this song to us kids. When he died in March, 2017 he was cremated, and after I picked up his ashes, this song came on the radio. Grew to love Conway Twitty music through my parents playing his records. His voice was one of a kind. Thank you Scott for bringing us to his resting place.

When I was growing up I’d go on vacation with my grandma and grandpa and they would always have Conway twitty and Kenny Rogers and so many others on. They bring back so many great memories ❤
conway was my very fave singer , i have seen him countless times over the years when he came to the Baltimore area it is such a shame that his wife did not give him the proper burial site that he deserved! she puts him in a vault, and under his given name, he deserved much much more , ie george jones burial site, thanks scott
Conway Twitty was so awesome had such a beautiful voice thank you Scott for putting all of these videos together you are very compassionate and respectful watch them all keep it going God bless my friend
It's pretty cool that Twitty was living in Friar's Point as a toddler when Robert Johnson was known to have played there on street corners. It's a tiny town so who knows if they crossed paths (obviously Twitty would have had no recollection being too young)
You've picked a true country legend thank you RIP Conway
Conway ✊

It's pretty cool that Twitty was living in Friar's Point as a toddler when Robert Johnson was known to have played there on street corners. It's a tiny town so who knows if they crossed paths (obviously Twitty would have had no recollection being too young)
Great video Scott!!! Thank you❤️
I'm so glad that you show All those places As I can't get to USA,i suffer from a sickness and I'm from Australia Queensland
Well done Scott! Back in the day, Conway was the man ! Women would go crazy over him ....stay safe my friend..✌️👍
