Dr. Vishnu Subramani - Bariatric & Metabolic Institute - The 25th Hour Radio Show with Rob Fairless

Vishnu Subramani, MD, leads the bariatric medicine team at BMI- Bariatric & Metabolic Institute, with locations in Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, Missouri. He is board certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Obesity Medicine. He brings in years of experience in dealing with patients that have struggled with obesity and weight management. He has a strong passion for helping patients with obesity or weight-related problems because of his own struggles with weight his entire life. He can both sympathize and empathize with his patients.
Dr. Subramani completed his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, located on Saba, a special municipality of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. He then completed his residency training at Weiss Memorial Hospital/University of Chicago Program in Internal Medicine.
He is a member of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Subramani enjoys playing basketball, singing, weightlifting, yoga, and meditation.
