I believe when you upload a video at high resolution it immediatley is available at a lower resolution. Hopefully by the end of the day the higher quality version will be out.
@@xcbaby123 Well I'd be surprised if it was a low resolution issue. This video is 720 which is the same resolution as last year's race. Besides low resolution doesn't explain all the glitches and blockiness. I hope a better quality video will be posted later as you said but I'm not holding my breath.
They have “technical difficulties” at some point almost every year at xc nationals. But rarely have problematic coverage for other sports at any point.
Sad to see that by the end this is not watchable or even listenable. Would it be too much to ask for you to put together the raw footage and reupload it, instead of using the garbled stream feed? I mean some years it's whatever, but this is really rough.
@@stanogrady893 Absolutely! Eventhough I ran at Auburn in the 80s, I immediately became a Jones fan. Seeing kids accel in spite of physical disadvantages, is a wonderful thing to see. I was so glad ESPN cut to her several times running not far from the front early. Heart like that is immeasurable.
@@stanogrady893 No kidding! Did you run for Coach Craddock? UVA hired my CC coach in 79 who recruited Tom Cotton, Ray Brown and Chris Fox. He subsequently decided to stay at Handley in Winchester and later died in 1981 from cancer. Its a small world.
The last part of the stream broke down so bad the ads began to really appear. lol. Anyway, in the beginning, I was wondering what Olemomoi strategy to the race. She look like she gave up at the end (and almost shoved that NM runner).
Can y’all use a camera that was made after 1868???? This is hella disrespectful this is an NCAA championship FINAL!!! Even high school races have better quality than this y’all are sorry asf!🤡🤡💀💀💀
Honestly a nine year old could do better with a phone than the NCAA with all their expensive videography equipment. Just horrible to even post this. Does anyone at the NCAA have any integrity?
That’s the reason I was nearly always last for the 1st 400. I’d catch up after the first downhill, clear to the front in county level meets, close to the front in larger meets. I was the slowest sprinter on the team. Everything wasn’t an invitational back in the 70s.
Oklahoma is being mentioned b/c the “coach” has decided to recruit Kenyans, and while I have no problem recruiting internationally b/c I believe having different cultures is great, you’re NOT a coach if you’re unable to recruit and develop homegrown talent. It’s embarrassing. Oklahoma State can do it. BYU can do it. Arkansas and Oregon can do it. NAU can do it. Stanford and Colorado can do it. NC and NC State can do it. Harvard can do it. WV, New Mexico, Providence, Connecticut…. Why can’t Oklahoma do it? Because their coaches can’t coach. Yes,I’m salty.😂. Running is a PREMIER event in both life and in the Olympics. I’d like to see my alma mater do a MUCH better job.
Crazy how NXN can have quality coverage, but not NCAA. Honestly, this is disrespectful to the athletes.
i'll just say it. no on cares about running...it's a shame
did they film this with a ti-84
This is why you NEVER pay for these events.
😂😂😂
They upgraded to a russet potato

Imagine paying for this, they should be ashamed.

Horrible quality at the finish especially. Most high school races have better footage than whatever this is. It's time to do better, NCAA.
The mooshrooms i dropped earlier kicked in just at the end 😂
😂☠️🤣
the actual stream was so glitchy gotta fix it smh

22:58 was so SWEET,,, it just broke me up....really...
What the heck was happening to the feed for the last 1k? Horrible watching experience.
I have epilepsy and I had to stop watching at the end. I felt like I was on the verge of a seizure.
Whos the girl with one arm? She did extremely well!
Tennessee's Ashley Jones....64/48th.
@@TimMarshall-er9qk I met her at the SEC indoor championships. Such a sweet inspirational lady.

@ I ran for App State and UVA in the middle 70’s and she’s a reason to continue to watch XC. There is no prima Donna’s in this sport.

Good race WVU and Oregon and NAU and Alabama, Providence, etc. And go cougs! Impressed by their #5 moving up so much over time...
The quality was totally destroyed the last 5 minutes! Are you kidding me! Shame on you!!

Wow in my old iPhone 4 could’ve streamed in better quality
The quality is so bad that I thought my computer was about to crash
Wow work on the stream…
You folks complaining about the quality of acting as if the NCAA axctually cares about cross country...?
Was this recorded on Betamax or VHS?
25:40 Top 10 coach reveals of all time lol. Diljeet is such a BAMF!
When an NCAA Championship winds up looking like the CrossFit Games.☹️☹️☹️
Absolutely RIDICULOUS video "quality." It's 2024! Incredibly disappointing that such an important race is crap / pixelated with equally horrid audio.
Junior high races have better quality of filming!!! Just sad
The quality is horrible. I'm sorry. LFG Providence
I watched this race to see how well Ashley Jones would do!
Overall the race was good but the video quality wasn’t good
How is the quality always this bad
is there a way they can redo it just for the end
Man broadcast sucked towards the end
Thomas Edison rolls over in his grave. 😂
Absolutely sickening that this broadcast was so bad. NCAA earning the hate.
Congrats to the BYU women! Go Cougs…

Walter White and Jesse use the junkyard magnet at the end to ruin the video.
Would get better video quality from Mars.
😂😂😂😂
Great job BYU!
NC State wins 4th in row if 2 of their top 4 run!
I thought it was my connection.. guess not
Go Cougs!!!💙💙
Why even bother uploading something as low-quality as this? It was more annoying than entertaining.
ESPN Owns the content
who won? lol
Terrible video quality
Horrible coverage!!!
Shame on you for this coverage. It's totally ruined! A million times worse than the Jake Paul/Tyson fight. It's unwatchable! How disgusting!!
Terrible video, I gave up
these starts are so wild! But if everyone just agreed NOT to full sprint for the 1st 400m, I would have loved that back in xcountry!

What's with all the artefacts?
Worst...video...ever!
Alabama team disrupting the interview not so keen! Let her have her moment please.
That thing looked like it crawled out a zebras bum!
I thought it was awesome
NCAA DEI video crew comes through yet again ... and this is why we can't have good things.
Very interesting and informative video! Thank you for your attention to detail! 🍭💝
Great job! Your videos are always so high quality and interesting! 🍒🧡
