I always loved to follow the competition between Lauren Gregory and Katelyn Tuohy back in the day! What a solid athlete, so good to see her here. Also, congratulations!!
Congrats.....on the podium and very close to winning and being national champion.....Amazing! I think they should have had more definitive markings, as sometimes one small flag won't do the job at an intersection of trails, on a course where people are running fast and looking down at the ground. That is a great accomplishment, and you are really strong!
Brilliant Allie. So happy for you! As an amateur runner, I love getting an insight into your approach to training and racing, the highs and the lows - thanks as always for a great video!
Making the women go out at 7:30am when it's clearly WAY too early in the morning and also apparently still pretty cool is just cruel 😂 Great work though Allie, I commented after your race at the World Finals that I knew you had THIS kind of performance in you, and you've proved me right once again! 🎉 Loved the editing in this video and the awesome coverage provided by Dirt Circus - that's a tricky event to try and capture in real-time! 2nd place out of the whole country is a big deal, you should feel so proud of yourself for kicking butt once again 😤
Hell yeah!! The directional confusion is so relatable...my secret (anti)superpower is always turning the wrong way to get home whenever I'm in a new place LOL. Congrats on your amazing season, have a good rest and can't wait to see what you get up to next year. 😊
Awesome podium finish, Allie. It was fun watching that signature Allie finishing kick. Great job. 👍 The post-race interview with Lauren and you was cute. I learned something new: "cricketing".
I can't tell you how many times I went off trail when I hiked the Appalachian Trail (AT). However, I just broke my compass and map out and bushwhacked my way back onto the AT -- I never back-track...Well, except that one time I came to a cliff drop off🤣🤣🤣
Great job allie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing your HR is so high for so long. Even when I workout as hard as possible I can only get it up to 150/160s max so I can't imagine working out at your level.
Congratulations Allie , I also had a race today and used your tips :) unfortunately my legs cramped up on me pretty hard after ten miles and I got a slow half marathon time, but I’m gonna use the disappointment as fuel to train harder for the next one.
Congratulations Alli!!!! You totally crushed it! This was such a fun vlog to watch. Now I'm thinking about doing trail racing. Happy early Thanksgiving! 🫶🏾💜
I don't know that I like the look of all those severe curves in that course but you took it on with flying colors! The most beauteous of finishes there as only Allie can do! Whoosh! Go Allie O.!
Allie, you are aware of another 10K championship in about 50 days from now - right ?? LOL. Yes the USA T&F cross country championship in Lubbock, Texas slated for Sat Jan 11th. The wife & I will be out there cheering. About 3 hours prior, the West Texas Running Club will have a 2 mile & 5 mile race also in Lubbock. I'll be doing the 5 mile, and that would be a fantastic low key race for Spencer coming off an injury. Plenty of time to run the club race and head over to the cross country championship. I hope you'll run because I do believe it's the team trials for the World cross country championship slated for Sat Jan 10th, 2026. Great race in Arkansas. Sorry you got "lost" on the course. But even that, you still officially clocked a great time. What do you think - subtract a minute ?? for your "real" time ??
I don't know. A national championship and the course is not well enuf marked that an experienced competitor can't follow it? Entertaining vid as usual.
Congrats Ally!! I'm looking to get my fiancee some chirp rollers, but your code is not working. Is it expired or maybe a different code? Has anyone else had this issue?
Way to go, Allie O! Great race and so happy for you taking second place in this tough race. All that training is really paying off.
I always loved to follow the competition between Lauren Gregory and Katelyn Tuohy back in the day! What a solid athlete, so good to see her here. Also, congratulations!!
So happy for you! The “surprise“ race turned out to be a great season-ender. Can’t wait to see what is in store for next year! 😊
Your video editing is so good. "so many turns *ominous music* " Thanks for always sharing your journey. You're definitely inspiring.
Thanks for showing us that persistence pays off and that the journey is never a straight line
Yay, Allie! Your national placing reflects your fitness and experience. Great way to close out this year of cross-country+track+road+trail racing!

Great race Allie. Congratulations. I absolutely love watching you race.

Didn't realize you were racing in my hometown! NWA trails are a special kind of switchbacky fun. Great effort!

Your video blogs are top-notch and well done.
Gotta learn to “pass, gap and bury” per awesome trail runner Sally McRae. Great job!!!
Congrats, oh my god that feeling when you think you're off course.. I was like noo.. Stoked you still maintained your place, awesome effort!
That looked like a really twisty course, but you did great navigating it and coming 2nd - superb! =D
I followed your race on the live feed that day and I was so happy for you!! I am such a fan - no matter how you finish. This was an awesome race!!

I heard that you had the fastest finishing stretch of all the women. Even with the extra distance from your scenic detour.
Yes Allie!! Huge inspiration 🙏🏼

Great job allie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing your HR is so high for so long. Even when I workout as hard as possible I can only get it up to 150/160s max so I can't imagine working out at your level.
