Hi, I am just wondering what you call the stick with the bent end that you use to pull the stitches into place when casting on? I've just started using the egg and can't seem to find anything like that that can help me cast on. It's tricky doing it with my fingers.
Changing color is the same as the larger machine just in a much smaller space. ua-cam.com/video/0RlAthbqBD8/v-deo.html My setup is the same as the video except I'm usually sitting in a chair holding it out in front of me (not the best ergonomic position). I keep moving the weight up as the cord gets longer.
i hate the weight that comes with this to it alsway fell of. i was looking at the tulip machine to do this also cause im sure when i used worseded weight yarn on here it broke my machine.but the other machines have 4 hooks and use finger yarn
How do you guarantee the stitches are dropping to the base of the needles? That’s the problem I’m having. I can’t seem to get passed 4-5 stitches without one not dropping and it ruins the whole thing
The beginning 10 rows are always tricky. Go slow and watch the stitches, help them down the needle if needed. Don't worry if it messes up in the first 10, even 20, rows... you can cut that section off.
u say u can use worsted yarn i thought with all these type of machines u can only use like finger yarn 3 or 4 ply not like 4ply american which is aussie 10 ply
There's a bunch of projects! Use over wire to spell words or names, coasters, keychains, bracelets, necklaces, and so much more. I plan to use this one to edge a flat project that I'm working on.
@@CalumetKnits f when you use it to finish the edge, please post it. This reminds me of spool knitting from when I was a kid. And I just never knew what to do with these long cords I made, but it was a lot of fun!
Try using a chip clip that is heavy. If you just purchased the machine, I would contact the seller to see if they can replace it or swap out for a new machine.

It's a loom hook. Super inexpensive on Amazon.
I just hit pause and ordered one. What can I do with the i cord after I make them ❤
So many things! Check out Pinterest, you'll find a bunch of ideas for icord projects.
@@CalumetKnits I've actually figured a few things out on my own. I may make a video to share 😉
I have the Tulip Icord and it looks like the Addegg produces a thicker cord which I need. Any idea if it is thicker?
The AddiEgg has 6 needles and it is bigger than the Tulip.
Thank you!
Thx! How would you make a long piece changing color,, also could you demonstrate your exact setup not over the table. Lol ❤im a very visual learner
