Proper Tawakkal Summary
1. Know Allah deeply in His Names and Attributes
2. Deep/firm conviction in Qadr Allah. Don't panic He is in control completely. Don't be too delusional about what makes you happy that you are provided with, nor grieve too much when you miss out on something good/are hit with something bad.
3. Seek the available means that are in your grasp. He gave you enough of a will to make choices in your life. Still do your part. To Maryam mother of Isa (as) it was said: Shake the palm tree to feed yourself dates.
4. Don't rely on the means, it is still through the Qadr of Allah. Everything happens by Allah's permission. Fire burns by Allah's permission, but Allah can break that connection, for example with Ibrahim (as).
Trust Allah correctly in your deen, sometimes Allah may not give you something for your own good, still trust Him, before and after the outcome.
