    WHAT IS HIGH GRADE STONE?
    Anything you can run a 1/2" or more flake with a pressure flaker.
    HEAT TREATING:
    Heat treat a few FLAKES of everything you got except HIGH GRADE Raw Stone, Obsidian, Dacite, Basalt, Hornstone, Sonora, Fort Payne, or Rhyolite. Start with flakes and spalls less than 1" thick for 200°F for 24 hours to dry it out. Then raise the temp to 275°F and hold for 4 hours. Let cool down for 12 hours. Chip and compare. If no difference, put back I at 200°F for 1/2 hour, then raise to 275 for 1/2 hour, then raise to 325 for 4 hours.
    Let cool down for 12 hours. Chip and compare. If no difference, put back in at 200°F for 1/2 hour, then raise to 275 for 1/2 hour, then raise to 325 for 1/2 hour, the raise to 375 for 4 hours.
    Repeat with temp going up 50°F until you reach 600°F or nice chippable stone. Whichever comes first. If no good result, or things blow up, let us know.

    We had the Grandbaby all night last night for the first time. Shes never been away from her mother for longer than 2hrs. She sleeps just like her mother did. Head on the wife and foot in my back 🤣

    11 mins on; I saw that video of a bison being butchered, very good exercise/experiment, they did use an axe for separating the ribs from the spine, that would be good use of biface. The guy made a very rough hand axe.

    Guill ,hunt primitive recently did a atlatl buffa hunt and butchering, his hafted knives were not that large but very efficient.

    I broke a tomahawk in half on the last hit! Just one more thinning flake was all it took..😮 Damage control Im still working on.😊 material and us are not perfect so i move on to the next one.

    Jack, my wife is starting to lighten up on me. A little. Now, she says Man spends 3 weeks making 10 arrowheads, breaks 5 of them in half, sells the other 5 for $20.00 each.
