It's so funny to see you excited about this cafe. As a local from Tenerife (Los Abrigos) is great to see someone from the UK enjoying real local places and island's traditions. In Spain is common to have dinner between 9-10pm, even in winter. Don't be surprised! I have a lot of tips: genuine places in the whole island.

hi Freddie !! I am from Tenerife and I love your videos! I recommend that even if you don't like meat, you go to eat at the guachinches in the north of the island! And that you go to the supermarket and buy and try products from the Canary Islands, you will love it!

Hello you 2, Well night life in Tenerife and how well lit the roads are, thought that you 2 would have done the dodgems. Different type of video from you, but enjoyable to see a different aspect of the island. The garage cafe, we have so much to learn sometimes all we get is help yourselves I can’t be bothered to serve you, but what a hub of business especially at that time of night. Freddie great video and trip down memory lane at veronicas. So funny how excited you looked at the cafe 🤣 we do vespa road trips round Europe and some of our best meals have been at service stations.

Many happy memories from my non stop party days in Las Americas. Lived in Los Chis, so walked along the promenade, stopping at McDs for dinner. Warm up bars were next to the bungee rocket, then head off either straight down Veronicas or hit the Starco centre until 6am with the taxis right outside for 2 euro ride back to Los Chris. Some bars in Veronicas stayed open until mid morning. Or if you wanted the real Irish experience head back to the Dubliner... crazy bar with live Irish bands every night and rammed! Very happy days from 20 years ago.

Hi , an upmarket Black Pool , ah ? where the weather is warmer . Looks a great place for the winter holiday , oh no , your working , oh ,how the other half work . Glad to see Monika is in command and yes were going in and then Freddie out side the door to calm down , Sheer Magic , may be a trip to mother care ,for some small rompers and walking reins . Janckers for Freddie when he get back and more cleaning and a sugar ration , until spring . As a side line , you could bottle your sweat Freddie and sell it as a tonic . Always interesting and fun to watch , take care and carry on making these videos .

This reminds me of what I always say to friends about the year I spent living in Italy, even the Autogrills basically service stations on the highway have better food and service than most cafes and restaurants in England 😂

Wonderful some of the best coffee and cakes served at the service stations. Next time you are going from Puerto de la Cruz towards either Icod or Buenavista you must stop at El Miridor Service Station……superb and great for tapas too.

The petrol station pretty much behind you (Los Cristianos taxi co-operative is even better).. half a portion of meat and potato (stew - tapas) is a rather filling meal, and the meat melt in your mouth it’s so soft, without the fancy neon light and no pastries, just a good old traditional cafeteria with great normal food for the locals… and yes the police and taxi drivers all go there… just on the outskirts of los cris.. towards parque
Great to see you both enjoying yourselves. At the risk of being told off by Monika 😂 I too have enjoyed service station food in Europe. It’s been a few years but in France and Germany we’ve had really good food at a services. There I’ve said it!

First time i went to las americas we made sure we stayed to opposite end of the area to veronicas strip not my cup of tea, But as you have been pointing our Tenerife is so much more than the tourist resorts, Was there early november and didn't want to come home.
