@ Have Rockstar ever referred to it as GTA 5 Online? Look at every trailer every bit of info and look at the separate game you download if you just want the online. GTA Online no 5 or V in the name at all, been that way since it was announced, early interviews for the game Rockstar have treated it as a separate game that until recently you just needed to buy GTA V to have access to it
