At this point in Doomguy’s journey, he’s already fought through the hoards of hell though out Doom 1, Sigil, Doom 2, the Master Levels, TNT, and Plutonia. I feel like this midi perfectly matches the exhaustion Doomguy would be experiencing at this point. Decino really hit it out of the ball park with this one.
Feels like demons tired to die, trying to kill you And you tired to kill them, trying to defence yourself Nrftl is perfect to play, after one breath beating doom 2. You're so tired and this music perfectly fits in.
Technically only Doom 1 and Doom 2 happened before this, Master Levels, TNT and Plutonia all happen after (although master levels isnt canon nor is sigil officially canon) sorry i got nerd mode for a second but besides that i agree with this comment.
@@Tycitron Yeah, I was going to say that too, supposedly this takes place after Doom 2. Though the canonicity of these entries are very questionable, especially TNT which ends off on a cliffhanger that never gets expanded upon.
@@AdmiralChimp I consider TNT, Plutonia, and Doom 64 to all be alternate Doom 3’s for classic Doom considering all their plots are right after Doom 2, but are in different timelines. Also TNT’s ending is great, the fan sequel “TNT 2: Devilution” continues from the ending of TNT in a really cool and mysterious way. But of course it’s a fan sequel so it’s not canon to it.
I grew up playing doom on the Xbox, so you can bet I was really into No Rest for the Living (since it was either that or vanilla doom 2), I'm just so happy that the level that I can 100% say I am most nostalgic for has my favorite midi that can really emphasize it.
Sounds alien, but otherwise beautifully chill, especially since it should be played in the first No Rest for the Living mission, which is basically post-Doom II anti-demon remnant cleanup duty in-universe.
You know what. Normally I shouldn't be saying this, but after having my heart-break of seeing a UA-camr that I just opened myself up watching her videos and subscribing her as well, I'm gonna miss her very much for all I know. So hearing this music made me cheered up, but at the same time I'm still having a hard time getting my emotions under control. Thanks man. (even though I'm still hurt inside, I'll get over it quickly) 😢

One of the best midis ever made, and definitely decino’s best.❤

I... think I know just who you mean by this. If it is, I'm wishing the absolute happiest and safest trails for her.
The single greatest thing Decino has ever composed. a Somber but hopeful piece.
In tone, rhythm, and melody, this sounds like a more somber, slower version of 'Entering' from BTSX E1.
sooo underrated :((
thanks
Currently going through a rough patch, and this track is a balm for the soul. Especially 3:32. 🥲 Thanks for uploading it.
Love Doom Musix Awesome!
Did... did you misspell decino on purpose? In the description, I mean.
It's been a little bit of a running joke since the 100k special.
Most likely.
