People aging my friend.. he getting old..what do you expect ? The quality is now different comparing to his young age.. but his music already influenced around the globe.

@@Francesco-is6pu Right. But back in the day, Yngwie was the king of alternate picking. And he's still pretty decent at economy today. Vai's alternate picking stuff is not as technically demanding as the old and even some new Yngwie stuff. For instance, try playing some of the licks from "Parabellum". That alternate picking stuff is hard. Can't see the same about Vai's most "recent" material. The thing is that Steve already knows he's old, he can't play technically demanding stuff as he used to. So he lowered the level to compensate for that. Yngwie refuses to lower his performance proficiency. But he's having a hard time keeping up with that.
