Galaxy or 64 weren’t rereleased either, but considering there’s more options for accessing those games today, I believe that’s why people have been more excited for Sunshine in this collection. You can still walk into a GameStop today and purchase either Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, or Super Mario 64 DS (or on virtual console via Wii U). Either way, no matter how you spin it, this collection is great for the younger generation. These games are now easier to access for them, who may not have the money or ability to obtain retro hardware and software.
