Dang son! You got an allstar lineup. I'm just a regular 40 hour work week with 2 kids kinda guy but slowly but surely putting a decent lineup together.
Thank you sir!! I tried to highlight at the end of the video how unnecessary it all is, you can have just as much fun and catch just as much fish with 3-4 solid rods and reels. Once you get bit though it's hard to shake the addiction!
it's getting to a point where I have a higher appreciation for the lower-mid range gear that gives the most performance per dollar! Once you spend a certain amount your money doesn't go as far
@@FishinMitch I usually purchase one setup a year. The past year or two, it’s been musky gear. Just getting back into bass gear. My only non bass pro gear is a megabass levante pitch perfect rod, 150 mgl, and a newly arrived Dobyns champion xp 733. I have some of the highest end bass pro reels, which really seem pretty good. Might get one more champion rod (734)if I end up liking this one
I just found your channel and love it. I have switched to almost exclusively using exprides and poison adrena rods but it is ridiculous I agree. Ridiculously awesome!!! Sorry not sorry. Great video bud.
Thank you sir! I've determined that the Poison Adrena is one of the best rods money can buy. They fish like a $500 rod. The Exprides are sweet too! They punch above their weight for sure
@@FishinMitch have u tried using any of the nrx+? I only ask because I have two that are Un impressive compared to the poison rods. They are tip heavy and just not as fun. But they are sensitive!
@@mikedaley2882 I don't mean to plug my own stuff, but I discuss the NRX+ in this video. ua-cam.com/video/v7X7RH72JDo/v-deo.html Basically, I agree with you 100%. The NRX+ is the rod that made me fall head over heels for my Adrenas.
First time on your channel. That was a great video. Great rod and reel combos and very nice high-end gear. I really enjoyed it! And I'm like you, I have like 49 rod and real combos. Of course we don't need them all. But when fishing is not only a sport but a hobby and one that you love, as long as you're taking care of your responsibilities, enjoy! I love the look of that rebellion Daiwa. Not one that I have... yet! 🤪
you do have the exact same set up. Didn’t know you had a zillion on it. I’m the dude that was talking to you about the rebellion on other video. I just bought the zillion today but got the 8.5 version and putting it on rebellion. Your collection is insane
Dude nice setups for sure. I actually got the St Croix victory 7 4 heavy for frogging and punching. Super light and great tip on it. I love my dobyns rods too! Like the content keep it up!
The Victory line is incredible, they have a rod for everything and for $200 with a 15 year warranty they're hard to beat. I had the 7'3 H and used it for flipping, caught my PB of 7lb 4 on it!
Victory and jerkbait rod has been my absolute favorite brought that I found. I’ve gone through probably 10 or 15 different models and Victory is so incredibly lightweight and has a softer than average taper it really keeps those tiny hooks pinned well. I even fish jerkbaits on bread to leader very comfortably and I can just let the rod absorb the fight even with the short length Edited for typos
Best reel is tough to say, they're all good at different things. I'd say for VALUE, the SLX MGL is a great little reel. Totally capable of bombing casts and has all the brakes you need. My favorite reels all around are probably the Shimano Chronarch MGLs, even though they're a little old at this point. I love the look, feel, and how the fish in general. You can also get them for under $200 used if you look enough! I have to shout out the Daiwa Zillion though, I haven't used it enough to gather a full opinion, but based on feel alone it's a ridiculous reel.
@@FishinMitch let's see how that curado MGL performs against the chronarch. It should be better since there is more technology on it even though "curado" is a step down from "chronarch" supposedly
@@maziyauskas90 I agree, come Spring I'll get a good feel for the Curado. I have a feeling you're right, it may be a step above the Chronarchs just because it's 4-5 years newer
love seeing the the "SLX. BASS X " put-together/ combo . always thought that was such a cool combo.. too bad st.croix changed the look to lime green, which looks good on a spinning rod/reel. like a black tutla lt. ect.

Nioce, that was quite the haul of rods n reels, I look forward to fish catches on them this year !!!
Thank you! I'm going to be catching some giants this year, I promise you that!
You should try the mb p5s
Nice collection of rods and reels.
How'd you end up liking your cara? Ive been thinking about getting that rod

🔥🔥🔥 i gotta try a Dobyns rod next
That Expride will be quite a jump up from the Colt...
I'm sure it will be, but that Colt is a gem of a chatterbait rod in my experience
you have to try the fishing rod from Relixnusantara
what happened to your G.Loomis IMX chatter bait rod bro?
Traded it! Got the 7'2 MH Glass Expride to replace it, going to see how I like it in comparison.

I have a Daiwa Alphas SV TW on mine, and it weighs absolutely nothing and fits in my palm

The Bass X rods look sick with the SLX series. It matches so well.

Well I see you do not have a Megabass rod so your missing out.
I'm looking to change that in the next few months 😁
