Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 лют 2025
- In todays video we are getting the big girl ready for the slurry season! We have to do a full run through first and see how shes looking. Big job though is change the kingpin where father phil has to create his very own tool to get the job done. I get the dribble bar all serviced up, repairing pipes and checking over the macerator.

Unless you had oil seals in the outer swivel hub or axle side to replace you don't need to remove stubs. I split outer shell in half and split the inner cone with gas! If using threaded bar for pulling stubs, weld 2 nut's together so using more threads and won't damage bar. By right you need a tap as broken Roller's wreck the threads in stubs.
Old school mechanic never let anything beat you ☺️
Father Phil is a knowledgeable man great to have somebody like him around the yard
Depreciation on the tractor he said😂 , ‘‘tis appreciating in value them 62’s are now, all hitting classic status
Hardly classic yet
I love the rubber ring Phil, you're a wise man
You will have to get one of those new seats out of the workshop into that tractor Phil. Has Father Phil been to the shops for his classic tractor and tractor and machinery magazine's to keep him entertained in between watching the pump and sleeping hope you have a good season boys with not too many problems
Farmer Phil/Father Phil love your videos, a tip for making it easer to remove wheels, coat area inside the rim and the hubs with a thin coat of grease. it will save you a lot of grief down the road.
We done that putting it back on
Got to give it to father Phil the makes a not so fun job look handy , his invasion to make tools to suit the job . He has a wealth of knowledge and it is great watching ye work together and how you have grown more comfortable doing different mechanical work . Keep up the great videos.
Your our favourite farmers in the world.Father Phil is a pure genius and interesting man he’s wonderful fantastic sound track on the video.Good luck 🍀 you work so hard getting ready for job I hand .Your all amazing 🤩.😂😂😊😊😊😊😊

Nice puller that father Phil
Nice one Phil, don't worry about the slurry
Its good getting more work Phil, but have to get around to all the customers you have already too
Great video Phil, looking forward to slurry videos🚜💩
Great video Phil 👍🏻
Father Phil is some all-rounder in every sense of the word.
That's good thinking on yer part Phil to go with the flowmetre & "Smart" slurry spreading. I'd think it might be very helpful for tillage spreading?? If farmers had slurry composition done it'd be really useful for ye & them to know the impact slurry would have on ground then.
Father Phil is some man gifted
Top job Phil
Very interesting video busy times ahead good luck good team work there 👍
Great video and work. I'm from mid tipperary. A local silage and tillage outfit beside me does all slurry for us. They does all machine work on tractor for last 4 year.
Great video… slogging away again in unfavourable conditions and getting the gear ready against the odds without complaint, between the beet harvester and the slurry tractor you’ve put in a Trojan effort… you deserve a bit of luck in the fields with both of them.
Good man phil, great video, keep them coming, father phil is some man for solutions too problem, hope you have good slurry season
If you come up to cavan you'd get my pit silage no problem. 40 acres first cut
Hard to beat that time off year to get the slurry out
All the best for the new season
Father Phil is some Tool for 1 tool..Father Phil should do a slot every week about "Tips & Tricks" he uses regularly to do a particular job etc. like Finnegans farm does ever Wednesday.Great video as always Phil.❤️
Well Farmer Phil funny i don't know what yr names are outher than bro and Liv.

How much for One.
I only use one a year
Was I seeing things, but did your young brother walk across the yard in shorts in January? It's a balmy 28 degrees here today, but seeing a man in shorts in Longford in January made me shiver.
You did yes😂 he wears shorts in the winter and jeans in the summer
@@FARMERPHIL3690 young bro is a free spirit long may it last, he is a top young man!!

Great video Phil. Best of luck with the season ahead
Farmer Phil fans big one
Father phil should be on dragons den with that tool , some man for one man
Great video, cold snap coming in you should get the beet hopefully.
Great video 👍
That wheel that was 'chafered ' in might even have had too much camber on it..😇😉😁😂 seriously though, good on ya for making the videos, it's nice to see the work ye do round the farm..
All the best for the new season, hope ye got out of the yard on time this morning.
Did ye ever make that trailer for pulling the slurry pump behind the pickup/lowloader
With all the additional electrics on the tractor now (GPS, Flow meter, extra lights, aux switches for the hydraulics, chargers etc.) have you had to upgrade the fuse board, battery and alternator as id say there is a fair draw on the battery power?
No haven’t upgraded anything just added more wires and fuses😂
@@FARMERPHIL3690 Hope there is a set of jump leads in the pick-up😉. all the best with the new toys
Great video as usual Phil where you get the rubber rings?
Enso
Great video. What size is the front floatation tyres
800 on the front
Use a fuse block mounted in the CAB. Got plenty on Amazon.
Yous would hardly come to Cavan to pipe a drop of slurry ?? Great video, best of luck with the season
Bit to far to go😂
@@FARMERPHIL3690 true enough 😂
Evening
Phil you should get someone to sponcer CB radio for the slurry
Great that yas can do the mechanical & maintenance work your self's ( save a few € 👌)
Hi Phil great channel wait every video. What your opinion on using dribble bar will the slurry come back in the silage? Especially if spread later in year like march or for second cut? Is splash plate a safer bet?
It’s down to how thick the slurry is
A Milwaukee cordless grease gun would be a great help
We have one and it’s what I used to grease it down
Great video
Now Phil u say you know all the tricks Wa u prime the slurry wit ?
can you not spell properly
What about the universal joints?
Piping only suited only for precision silage??
Well
Well
😅
Great job. Are u going to put the printer inside the cab as well?
Planning on
When can we expect the first video of the slurry
Thursday
“ Nothing wrong with FJ Dynamics . “Fair dues Phil
