Were it the former, Nemo would have been highly advanced using the same techniques, starting with low grade planes and weapons, allowing Nemo to enhance itself until it was practically invincible in an advanced plane. For the latter, Simon would likely combine the combat data of multiple aces and Nemo would not only observe and develop, but the technology of that era would allow it to easily copy and even create counters to each fighting style, turning Nemo into a One-Man Air Force. It should be known, Dision was already acknowledging Nemo as an Ace by the fourth mission, as well as being noted by others to quickly adapt to the handling of any fighter, use maneuvers perfectly, and seemingly be immune to G-forces.
@@HanzoIRL Not just practically. We absolutely are fighting Z.O.E. If you look very carefully at the left side of the ADFX-10, you can see the Z.O.E. logo. I think it might be on the ADF-11 as well but I can't get a good enough look it.
X-02S can turn much much sharper than that. It can practically stop on a dime too. I used the EML to kill both drones instead of the missiles. They like to fly fast and do 90 degree turns so getting a good lock on them is annoying af. The hypersonic missiles and QAAM from the YF-23 and the F-22 are also good against them.
There is a moment when these drones just fly straight and slow. Hitting them with 4/6/8 AAM at correct timing will save you from headache. Though finding the timing itself is a headache lol
This game has been absolutely fantastic. I just wish it had more content. I'm not too concerned about S ranking every single mission, but I get that others find that enjoyable.

Well done and the planes you have to pick in order to do catapult take off are F-14D F-18F Su-33, Rafale M & F-35C. For X-02S It's actually an Air Force aircraft that's why you had to do short takeoff
I got X-02 by earning so much when I was doing the Gun-only campaign challenge with MiG-21 and gun pods. Took me a bit over 15 minutes to take down the drones using only a storm of lead.

I'd hope its the former of those two options. The book also says that the manned version has TLS and QAAM (and the weapon UAV's would most likely be its third special weapon). I also can't be certain that "Raven" is the planes actual name, since there's a fair amount of translation errors in the book. My guess is it's either Raven or Rabe.

I have an S rank for most of the missions on Ace difficulty. I'm going to try and mop up the last few mssions and see if that's the unlock requirement.
The ADF-11 is a completely different model, but does take its design after the venerable ADF-01 Falken. Last I checked, ADF-01 is unplayable in AC2, and instead the XFA-27 is the final unlockable.
Cool mission for sure, but it doesn’t have the same weight of consequences as previous titles. Want a challenge? Play the game without ever using parts!! It’s much better, you actually have to earn each victory.
yeah that sucks but in the Aces at War book it says there is a Manned Variant of the ADF-11 and ADF-11F Raven but it was never added into the game they only add the NPAC "Non-Playable-Air-Craft" version.

Ace Combat doesn't work like that. The only way this game will be the last one is if it flops which doesn't seem likely. If the game does well enough Ace Combat 8 will surely happen.
AC 8: Infinite Sky will take place in outer space. Some advanced civilization tracked Pilgrim One and managed to pinpoint earth, but not until earth has advanced itself.

Unknown it doesn’t need vertical stabilizers, it has thrust vectoring nozzles that move in all three dimensions (pitch, roll and yaw). Also if planes can’t fly without vertical stabilizers, how do you explain the B-2

That means one of two things then. The ADF-11 is playable and no one has found out how to unlock yet, or the manned model will be DLC.

Unknown it doesn’t need vertical stabilizers, it has thrust vectoring nozzles that move in all three dimensions (pitch, roll and yaw). Also if planes can’t fly without vertical stabilizers, how do you explain the B-2
