So, I can’t listen to this song in any form without crying because one day it was on the radio and I was in the car with my mom, I look over and she’s crying like a baby. She said “it reminds me of your sister.” And now every time I hear it I just think of my mom, who was sooooo young when she had us, who made so many mistakes and lost the connection she had with one of her daughters forever. I hope my sister will come around someday, because my mom is 100% grown now and I’m proud of her. But still, this song is like a punch in the gut when you listen to it from the perspective of a young mother who will grow to regret everything until the day she dies.
This is actually fire and I appreciate the effort you put in making this beat because it fits surprisingly well on lyrics it shouldn’t fit. Additionally it also changes with the hook which is actually great
