I did my own testing and I like this team more.
Diluc + Kazuha + birb + Rosaria
even with my poorly built Diluc I can get about 1.08M DMG per rotation. And it's just Diluc's own DMG.
How do you build rosaria for this and what are the rotations?
I was planning of playing something similar but have never looked at rosaria's kit.

Diluc spam E > Kazuha burst > Rosaria burst > Kazuha E (optional) > Xianyun E spam and burst > Diluc burst and plunge spam till enemies are sent to the shadow realm 💀

I have read this comment earlier and had to test it out myself. It was hard for me to maintain cryo on enemies. Personally I had a better result switching Rosaria out for Furina. But Kazuha was a damn good suggestion. You can take a comp that feels kinda finicky and turn it into a comp that is totally unga-bunga. I had no issues getting 36 stars in abyss.
I am using the following rotation:
Furina Skill -> Burst;
Xianyun Skill -> Burst,
Kazuha Burst,
Diluc Burst -> 3x skill, plunge -> plunge spam
Kazuha skill before or after rotation, or whenever necessary
Without any sort of proper set up I am getting Kazuha's additional pyro damage buff as well as pyro swirl. I am honest, I have no idea how and why I am getting them, but it has been very reliable for me.
Probably not optimal, but the ease of play makes it worth a mention.
I don't even have diluc or xianyun, but i have always loved Diluc
And felt bad when people said he is not good now like he was in earlier days.

Unrelated to Diluc but I noticed that if you get knocked during xianyun skill you can spam normal to still do a plunge so particles are not lost. Yes she doesn't need to be in the air to do that plunge
Great content. Ty. Although I love a lot of these different teams and synergies (not just Diluc), swapping around my Artifacts is beyond annoying. Until Hoyo gets their stuff together and implements loadouts, a lot of this just nice to watch. (ex. I will swap Diluc because he ain't got a team, but I'm not gonna swap my Yelan as I use her on a bunch of other teams)

How good Shimenawa's Reminiscence is? With C6 Benny he doesn't need his Burst I guess
Btw you can also do Xingqiu, Bennett, and Xianyun for a team. I've found it's not very different in terms of damage, but you get increased Hydro application, more consistent damage overall, not reliant on the circle impact as both Xingqiu and Xianyun snapshot the buff, and Diluc is not reliant on it if you are using WGS/Beacon of the Reed Sea, and still get benefits from Noblesse Oblige set anyways.
This also allows you to get similar damage to Yelan with Xingqiu.
This also allows you to simply use Crimson Witch, which is actually better if you already have high crit stats. While Marechaussee hunter does let you pad out stats a little differently it still ends up being a "must have EM sands, Pyro goblet, Crit dmg circlet" set which means its not really doing anything, and it relies on Furina to be optimal. Without Furina, who already struggles to give enough hydro, and cannot make use of Bennet properly and slows down the overall playstyle, Crimson Witch has none of these issues, can be strongboxed, and has the benefit of being a more flexible set overall since Marechaussee is only a sidegrade WITH furina.

Have you tried Eula with Xianyun too? I felt it was pretty fun to pair both together and I was getting 100-130k per plunge with Eula with the same comp that you used, but I didnt check if using an eletro char to trigger superconduct, like Lisa, would be better

Great video! You answered some questions I had. In particular, you were really helpful in explaining how Diluc's skills can be used at the end of the rotation. I do have a question, though: Since that 3-person core can support basically any on-field carry, is it worth building Diluc in particular? I'm playing Raiden/Furina/Yelan/Xianyun and I'm wondering if I should bother building my Diluc. Thanks!
how does Diluc compare to Gaming and Hu Tao as a pyro plunge carry with Xianyun? I have all three and am interested in the DPS gap.

On same lvl with c0-c5 gaming(DMG difference is little), less DMG than C6 gaming, definitely less DMG than hu tao, and also less DMG than C6 on-field Bennet.

And today i got Xianyun at 30 pity when I was not even expecting it all I wanted was Faruzan but I was completely fine about getting Xianyun so I wished. Is there any other character I can change with Furina on [Xianyun, Diluc, Yelan, (hydro)]? I dont have Furina and am probably not going for her on rerun either, but I own Xingqiu, Barbara, Mona and Candace as other hydro characters. or would it in that case be better to not go for hydro and instead add a Gaming or (maybe Xiao if I get him on the upcoming banner) or someone else entirely? I would mostly like to know some other character names that can fit into the 4th position there. DMG output doesnt have to be top notch, i mostly play for fun, but putting together a working team for Xianyun would be fun to have.
If I want vaporize team, I’ll just play the national team core. diluc hyper plunge vape is so high investment and hard to play. Appreciate the clacs and explanations tho

Finally.. FINALLY I can put my C5 Diluc to good use. (his cons don't even matter in this infinite dragon strike play style)
I used Gaming today and man... 334k was my biggest vape. This plunge buff tech is amazing.
My question is, Wolfs gravestone or Beacon ? I also have serpentine spine if it matters lol ; Diluc c3, furino c0 and bennett c5 is what i have
I like using standard characters (Keqing, Diluc, Tighnari).
I have them triple crowned and well built, with 5* weapons.
This way if i lose 50/50 it doesnt fell that bad and actually gives me something.
With CR now Diluc is good again, he already was with Furina, now its even better.
The 1st reason I pulled for her is, Arlecchino.
I believe they are going to be a strong team.
The qol update I need is toggleable constellation, I use onfield C6 Lynette w Benny so
If I have a C0 Diluc vs a C6 Gaming who is better on paper (mathswise).
And the other important question is which one of these will be more fun.
I tested it very briefly. Before Xianyun my Diluc was doing 114k per vape, and with her it's 209k per vape

Absolutely not very related but I'm very conflicted right now. Im barely 15 pulls away from 5* (guaranteed) and I really wanna try all these teams. I was saving for furina, for c1 or c2, but at the very least c0, but seeing how xianyun enables new teams, I really want her. I have around 60 pulls, do you believe that I'll have enough time to save for her (so, get 180 pulls to guarantee)?
in the nwe lantern rite causally playing you can get around 50 pulls if you jsut kinda explore, do all the events/commision and shit so it porbably is enough is guarentee antoher one but then you will be on 50/50

Can you suggest? Should i save for chiori or try to get xianyun...from what i saw from leaks chiori looks like a geo kequing, i don't know if she will be a unique geo like navia or not...i liked chiori's style and double handed sword but her attacks looked very mediocre
Also i don't play mono geo...only geo characters that i use are albedo, navia and ninguang...
Chiori as of now is just an Albedo 1-1 but more scallings the onfield stuff is bait. Has at max 2 teams one is questionable but she works is with Navia double geo she has a construct limitation in her kit so she's doing half her damage navia doesn't have construct but even with this her damage is more than Albedo and sligtly better than Zhongli. The other team is Itto very good synergy she works really well here. If you play these characters then Chiori is nice here if you are not then no.
@@thebrigade7684 i don't have itto or zhongli nither do i plan to pull itto in future...and navia already works pretty well with albedo...i don't care for the small increase in damage that chiori is giving compared to albedo and if i use chiori with navia, chiori's damage will already get halved...

I have c1 hu tao with dbane, c4 gaming and c6 diluc with painslasher/flower sword. Which will likely be better? My bennett still has c5 because I don't wanna ruin his synergy with ayaka.
C6 Bennett does not overwrite Ayaka's cryo infusion though

@@nakanomiku3001 dont know how weak your xiao is if a diluc that can only do 860k per rotation is out dpsing, even without xianyun, no 4pc VH and only 4 star weapons xiao can do 90k+40k collision plunges upto 11x-12x depending on your skill
Just beat the latest abyss with Dragon strike Diluc. Its bonkers to see him constantly doing 200k per plunge at C0r1 Wolf. Im in for Diluc meta to return again

eula doesn't use bennet anyways. her best teams are paired with furina or just use her for hyperbloom driver

Diluc in a nutshell:
Best team is plunge
Base kit is focused on skill and burst
Cons are for his base attack
Passive is for charged
Decent for all, master of none (imagine if his power budget was focused on one or two of this play stiles

Sure it can spread hydro to enemies in multi target but everything in her kit and diluc's plunge tells you to play single target
I bet it's for preventing abuse since plunge has a big multiplier and no ICD.
Not saying whether this is good or bad thing, but MHY (almost) never do balancing something that already exists in the game, so this is one of their ways to do it.
