Southern Colorado Honor Flight veterans honor fellow service members

29 local veterans are on the "Honor Flight of Southern Colorado", it's all all-expense paid trip for these local vets to see the memorials created in honor of the wars they and their fellow servicemen and women fought in.

I have an elderly friend that is there with the Navy group. He has been looking forward to this trip for a long time. I am so happy for him to experience this honor. Thanx to the Honor Flight organization, (I also have an acquaintance who volunteers here), that brings pride & honor to so many of our deserving Veterens.

I'm so thankful that my uncles all came home, all are brothers. 5 in Korea 1 in WWII and the youngest was in Vietnam
