Love watching people like ron, I have plenty of friends who don’t listen, land on green and bang 20/30 metres over the back, if they are long time sand greens the base should be like concrete,
@@ronchopper as a regular sand scrap player, I would disagree, best chip and run shots on sand scraps are using between 7iron and pitching wedge, best thing to do especially close to green is get some height, land near green and let it roll out,

Come to Coolamatong Snowy mountains country club, Berridale NSW… grass greens maintained by volunteers…a gem..
Scrape out with the spikes and in with the Smooth Ron, and always clean up around the hole when your done even if you don't scrape 🤙

Yeah raking it wrong mate, one out one back. And you can mark the ball with just a line in the sand with your putter. So much easier
