@@Ganodidit Hey Gano, I really enjoy the content you provide because it showcases a different side of countries and communities. It highlights the small businesses owned by locals who produce products for their communities. The story you shared about this man and his experiences with foreign companies stealing their designs and producing cheap imitations for the local Senegalese is truly unique. It sheds light on the challenges faced by small business owners in Senegal. One thing I took away from this video is the importance of locals producing their own animal skins and non-animal skins. It is necessary for communities to take steps towards developing a local market and products, rather than relying solely on the government. This will help ensure reasonable prices for the locals and prevent foreign entities from taking advantage by charging double the price. Additionally, this approach creates job opportunities and supports the economy of Senegal. Since you have this platform, I suggest doing something similar to what MrBeast does. You could focus on helping those who are looking to develop their communities by setting up donations for supporting causes like this, which in turn will help keep thriving communities alive.
I used to go to Ngaye overnight and shop for sandals in the morning and come back the same day .. The business was a good one !! I miss the streets of Thies
Thanks for you great work Sir. May I suggest you also look into the hard working youth in Ghana, such as Lennie and his farms, well known on youtube. We invited him recently to teach farming in our own farm in The Gambia. A great learning experience for all of us involved.
To compete with global products, I think they should fix pricing on their products. People rather go to supermarkets and get to see a price labeled than spend a lot of time bargaining at a local shop ending up not knowing if you’re ripped off.
For you my brother from Africa enter from UK my brother from the Gambia I hope everything is ok my brother in the Gambia is okay I said my love to everybody peace brother❤
Thé best shoes maker in Sénégal is cheikh dall.please ask his number ans do vidéos with him.he sell shoes like Nike adidas puma.hé added some cotton fabric on thé shoes.hé selle shoes to many stars players .go and try to meet cheikh dalleu
Don't export leather to the west please. Use them to add value to your products. May God bless your hands for your sincere hard work. Fantastic Fantastic
Great video! I would love to collaborate with someone when I move to the Gambia! That is an issue about buying from the name brand instead of supporting the artisans. I will definitely reach out to them or they are welcomed to contact me.
Copying the same shoe designs. 😢 Made to measure footwear to people with feet disabilities would be great to see. Just like made to measure clothing...
Your trip to senegal is an eye opening. The senegalese are at the top of their craftmanship.
The Senegalese are far ahead of Gambia on all levels. If you tell that to the average Gambian he wont agree.
