Put them in upstate New York and just import power from Quebec and Ontario. Or, put them in Alaska, and pay to build more hydropower, geothermal, wind, tidal power, and nuclear power plants.
Alaska has so much untapped hydropower potential, the US should be tapping that first. Datacentres are important, but the climate crisis needs to be addressed, and rising energy demand from satisfied with natural gas makes everything worse.
