In this interactive session, Dr Vora will provide tips on how to succeed at a University and in professional careers based on his personal experience and observations of 60 years. His success formula includes four pillars. They are: 1) Focus on Planning, 2) Focus on Strengths, 3) Focus on Soft Skills, and 4) Focus on Community Service. He will address: 1) Importance of Planning and Execution, 2) Understanding one’s Strengths and leveraging them, 3) Critical Skills needed to succeed in the 21st Century such as communication, leadership, decision making, teamwork, time management, problem solving, project management, and change management, and 4) Importance of giving back to the society for Nation Building.

This program will be conducted on a pro-bono basis by Dr. Manu K. Vora (IIT (BHU) distinguished alumnus, chemical engineering batch of 1968), Chairman and President of Business Excellence Inc., USA, a global quality management consulting firm. He has over 47 years of leadership experience. For the last 29 years, he has taught Operations Management courses at various business schools globally. He has contributed to over 680 educational institutes worldwide and taught well over 12,000 people. He is a sought-after speaker on business excellence and quality management topics with over 1,220 presentations in 36 Countries across 5 Continents. In the last nine years, he has delivered a Soft Skills Program benefiting one Million people. Dr. Vora has received 60 awards/honors for his outstanding professional service and 40 awards/honors for his life-long community service.
