The line that gets me every time but i didnt notice until someone pointed it out. "I think your house is haunted, your dad is always mad and that must be why" Haunted = Spirits = Alcohol 😟
My favorite TS song. Not often talked about. The line about how your house must be haunted cuts deep. And then the line about how we’ll move to India forever always reminds me of Secret Garden.
This is honestly one of my very favorite songs. It’s just…breathtaking to me? I love the pause after ‘seven’ for “I hit my peak at seven feet”-for a moment, you hear, “I hit my peak at seven,” and that really is a whole emotion, right? The pinnacle of your life on a swing during summer vacation… But I’m the kind of person who considers Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury to be some of the most emotional short stories of all time, so maybe that’s to be expected…
I was thinking, you would really like her song “The Archer”, if you closely listen to/read the lyrics they’re heart wrenchingly personal and vulnerable, that goes for her song “Dear Reader” as well, love your reactions!
as someone who grew up on a creek in pennsylvania and had an almost identical childhood situation, seven is such a special song to me. she played it as a surprise song when i went to her concert in june and it was magical. thanks for your great reaction🫶🫶
One of my favorite (underrated) lyrics of Taylor’s is the “before I learned civility, I used to scream ferociously anytime I wanted” and you perfectly captured why that line has always hit me so hard.
It's not single, it is just a song track, fun fact, TS is the only act who can simultaneously occupy the entire top 10 of BB hot 100 chart with ONE SINGLE (ANTI HERO) and 9 other tracks.
Great reaction! You pick up the lyrics so quickly. This is such a beautiful song, it took me a few listens to really appreciate the beauty in the story.
Shocked, I am. I liked this song very much. Beautiful lyrics and beautifully sung. Somehow this song reminded me of Ilsabett, a perpetual child-like woman walking in windy meadows with a Daisy in hand singing and rhyming to herself.. ( A main character in LE Modesitt JR 's book "The One Eyes Man" Asolutely astonishing.🥀 🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
This one always tugs at my heartstrings. I’d love for you to check out Bigger Than the Whole Sky (which is widely believed to be about miscarriage) and Ronan (look up the backstory for that one, heartbreaking)
Aaaahhh!!! Yes this is my favourite song on Folklore 💜 I love how in the long pond commentary she also said something like “when did I stop throwing myself on the ground and screaming at the top of my lungs at the store?” Honestly its an idea I have always pondered on when seeing a kid throwing a tantrum. Sometimes its like yeah kid… me too 😂
Swiftie here who just found your channel and I love your reactions. I definetly feel like you should do epiphany soon. I can’t wait to see more of these
