The film-crew has all my respect - Just wow!
Because if you screw up you'll pretty much be missing forever
Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the this series. Antarctica holds a special place in my heart. I wintered over at Mawson Station in 2016. I have mixed emotions about tour companies operating in Antarctica. When people see Antarctica for them selves, they become an advocate for its protection. So tourism is needed for its protection, however more tourism will bring some level of effect on this prestine environment.

As a chilean born and raised in the southern andes I have to say, sailing is the best way to approach, just think of Tronador or Corcovado, for both summit you need to sail. But sailing in Todos Los Santos lake way to Tronador is more boring than sailing in Chiloe's sea, that's real fun.
Mammut is a great back pack producer.
Genial guigui qui renvoie le fendant sacre pied marin
Increíble Cabo de Hornos!!!!!!
Thank you. I was looking forward to the next episode. I really like.
My dream
dare you yo try sailing around it...
👍👍👍
Wie weit könnt ihr schauen? Was und wie weit war das entfernteste was ihr gesehen habt am Horizont?
You went my ass to Antarctica...everyone knows what happens when you try to go
No travel is allowed below the 60th parallel via the Antarctic treaty...correct?
Unless you have the proper permits
ScorpiusMW70 watch “sorry, Antarctica we’re closed” and you will find that there are no “getting permits”.
It is illegal to travel below the 60th parallel. I like the patented 1892 Alexander Gleason map. It shows why no travel is allowed
@@douglashughes1392 can you send me a link or something?? I cant find it on here.
Guarding Soul it’s called “the Antarctic treaty”. But here is a good video about Antarctica

Duudes lets sail with an old pirate wooden ship to the arctic and bring a team with us we will reinvent arctic travel. We will upgrade it later to a solar cruise liner for arctic research. Good or bad idea ? You guys did a grath job and inspired me to this idea with your video.
Good idea but sadly illegal except your country allows you to go there so yes you can do it but getting the permission is hard but a single Expedition with some friends is no problem but a cruise liner making this legal is very very hard
@@kingghidorah5213 it still gives parches in the antarctic you can buy so that wont be a prob
@@Mystogan840 sadly that is not possible because of the antarctica treaty private people can't own antarctica only countrys can.
@@kingghidorah5213 well shit thats a problem i dont know if my country even has a claim down there
@@Mystogan840 where do you live?
That was good video, You do need to understand that the flat earth wrapped around a ball globe unfold it and the N pole become the middle . A compass still works the same "it always points to the middle and east and west take you in a circle . Faa flight records easily prove this. This video that you had me watch... Those people were granted access that you and I don't have. And honestly they did not treck the whole border to prove it. Yacht race maps Uncoincidentally show the truth lol
facts
Which boat is that?
This is our boat. Sailboat Jonathan, a Koopmans centreboard design. We still go to Antarctica.
I thought someone had a stroke then I realized they were speaking French.
Arent both the same?
That's what happens when you have a stroke. The loss of oxygen to the brain causes cells to die off and you start speaking French.

What type of boat is that?
SY Jonathan is a Koopmans centreboard design, alloy.

Why couldn't you just fly there?
@@haydenroth6990 makes sense. Thank you for the info. :)
Better to sail, to get the full experience.
Afraid of the sailing through the Drake? Feel lucky you get to go Antarctica smh
