Thank you BOTH very much for a very valuable SOUTH CAROLINA ETV presentation concerning cold-hardy lemons! I believe in Mr Katzbergs continuing efforts to encourage this valuable fruit. Because I own one tree that is thirty-feet tall. It has been busting out hundreds of lemons every year. Here in Richland County where I live is near the Clemson Research Center. So back in the spring of 2002, I planted a little Meyer Lemon Seedling At the corner of my backyard where I figured it would get water from a natural downslope. Then totally forgot about it. I had to work and deploy for the military. I did now know a thing about lemons then, but in my heart I took the long view that someday when I retired, I could see the fruits of my labor. Indeed these Meyer lemons is harvested now every year now for clearly twelve years. Thanks much.
