That doesn’t make Tim better it just makes his team situation better. Tim got to start as a rookie. Kobe didn’t so he missed out on some very important developmental growth that comes from in game participation. Tim is arguably the greatest PF to ever play and deserves all of his accolades and championships. There is always a counter part or point to everything we do. That Yin-Yang thing. Let’s not forget Pop is also the one that made taking nights off a popular thing to do. No one is saying Tim isn’t the man Kobe is as well and for my taste I take Kobe over everyone else every time

In the Shaq Vs Jokic comparison I want to remind you that Shaq is just a better rim attacker and shot blocker. they are equal rebounders.
Jokic is arguably a better post scorer, shooter from anywhere, passer, playmaker, IQ, leader, clutch, floor raiser.
Jokic is essentially a 6'11 souped up LeBron James with more skill.
Shaq's dominance didn't prevent him from getting swept or gentleman swept repeatedly with a great roster around him. It was only when he played with a top 3 player in the world (Kobe) and a 6 time champion coach (Phil) that he was able to truly dominate in the biggest stage.
He couldn't bring a title to the team that drafted him.

You can't really compare the 2.
1 played for the Lakers, coming with it the circuses.
1 played for the spurs. Model of consistency and selflessness ball. 1 was mentored and wanted day 1. The other was relegated to the bench by a coach that didn't want him, or trust players out of high-school.
1 had the same core "big 3" for 15 years and the same system and coach.
1 had a carousel of coaches and 1 superstar.
Let's be honest, Kobe played with less help and still thrived.

That's false. Tim Duncan never played with the most dominate player in NBA history who was also at the time the best player in the league for a number of years. (Shaq). That's better than any player that Tim Duncan has played with.
Kobe had Phil Jackson who was already established as an all time great coach due to his success with the Jordan Bulls. Popovich was a rookie head coach that no one heard of when Tim Duncan first came into the league.
Kobe was fortunately to play with an organization that has a history of winning championships with the Lakers unlike the Spurs that even to this day has never won anything without Tim Duncan. Unlike Kobe, Tim actually put an organization on the map.
Tim Duncan obviously did more with less.
