I was in Korea during the VF2 heydey. The arcades were packed with VF players like in video. The legendary Akirakid. Also miss when Lau dominated in VF1- VF3.
Thanks for the memories! Back in the day when the newsgroups talked about nothing but VF2, these guys were already legends. The m-UpKnife float of death, or the tricky senbon punch brought a whole level of technical complexity to a game that only had three buttons. Fortunately SEGA was kind enough to feature some game play demos by these gentlemen as extras in the home version of the game.
