Hi Kevin what a beautiful walk the weather was great and oh boy the lovely Heather it looks really great on a big area like a common then the walk through the trees lovely enjoyed the video very much thankyou ❤x
@fionahammond9396 Good morning, Fiona, and thank you. It really was a lovely walk, and as you say, the Heather was beautiful. I had intended to fly my drone a few feet above the heather, which would have some fantastic footage, but that didn't happen because it said there was a virus that had to be cleared, this is happening more and more sadly. Take care ❤️x
Look at that heather. Wow. This looks very much like a National Park here called De Hoge Veluwe. So beautiful Kevin. We love these kinds of walks. Lovely lovely lovely. What a great way to end my Sunday watching videos. Thank you. 👌🥝🙋♀🇳🇱
@IamaDutch-Kiwi Thank you, Anita 😊. The beauty of this place is that the walk can be extended quite a bit. We wanted to catch the Heather before it was gone completely. We are looking at getting back to more walks next year rather than so many churches.
@WanderingwithWatto Thank you, Paul 😊. Stedham and Iping is a really lovely place to walk. I'm not so keen in the summer, though, there are lots of things sliding around there 🫤😟🙁
The answer was yes it was in flower! Arty video there of such a stunning area. I remember walking there from Midhurst across the Severals. I think a roman road ran through the area too? Thanks for the video - so beautiful!
@@bobpape Hey Bob, and thank you. We stepped on it a few times. We started doing the Serpents Trail a couple of years ago. We need to get back to it again or restart it.
Used to live in Stedham 58 years ago spent the best part of my childhood on the common still visit the area as often as possible still looks like as i remember it, only live on the outskirts of Havant so not to far away
@kevinwestk7958 Thank you, Kevin 😊. You certainly lived in a beautiful village. And the common so close was amazing. We are lucky to live in the South of England.
@michaelwhite8031 Thank you, Michael 😊. Rough and rugged, it certainly is my friend. The car park is on the Harting road just off of the A272, a perfect place for someone in a yellow van to have a break :-).

Arty videos are for me :-).
Bit that place is stunning 😍
Good to see such places still exist in the old country!
@SteveInTokyo-b8n Thank you, Steve 😊.
There are places still around like this, thank goodness.
I hope you are well, my friend?
@@KevinsRambles Yes, I am well, and will be back in "Blighty" for xmas, first time for a few years.
@SteveInTokyo-b8n That is great news 😊.
Where will you be heading to when you are here?
@@KevinsRambles Very much the southeast. Depends how long I stay. Or where the next job is...
@SteveInTokyo-b8n If we are down that way, we should meet up for a coffee.
Did you walk along the Serpents Trail which runs through this area? Excellent video 😃
