    Great video. I know what you mean about finding the perfect fit. For me my Longines Hydroconquest was like that. For me a micro adjust is a must.

    Straight to the point: 3 minutes talking about the bracelet... 😅As an owner of all the watches mentioned (and a few more), in particular the BB Chrono (since its release, so I have had my fair share of time with it), I get where you are coming from and here's a couple of points that may make you feel even a lil bit better about it:
    - I agree that the clasp should have an easy adjust, but I guess it's a matter of time. For now, I would call your attention upon the ceramic ball bearings, you won't get those on any Rolex...
    - The movement is an improved B-01 which might not operate at Rolex levels, but it argueably outdoes any Breitling chrono (which is saying something) and for a couple of thousand $ less (at retail at least).
    - Tudor straps: yes please, they are amazing but somewhat pricy, my advice is to start off with the nato (best value for money and you will feel the difference with other natos) and work your way up to the leather with under-bonnet (600+300 back in the day...) if ever you get bored with the the nato/bracelet look, it will give you a rad bad boy feeling that will make you fall in love with it all over again.
    Last but not least: you will fall out of love with the BB Chrono eventually, but it's the kind of relationship worth saving as it is one I always enjoy rebounding with. Regardless, enjoy the ride!

    4:39 wait till you wind an Omega with coaxial escapement...smoothest winding action you'll ever feel. Even smoother than my 124060 which is already pretty smooth.

      Do the Aqua Terra’s with the 8900 movement have coaxial escapement cuz I had one and the winding was a big stiff.

    Definitely agree it should have micro adjustments on the fly. It wouldn’t be hard for Tudor to implement and little cost ❤

      @@Theewatchdad What you forgot to talk about , is that it's a MASS PRODUCED .5k column wheel chronograph , when the first batch sold will start to need a SERVICE and that gullible buyers will realize it's under/over 1000 .....You'll have a first wave of tsunami of Tudor black bay pandas FLOODING the market at 3500 euros , but it's gonna be just in time for recession and banking crisis ......So they won't go away unless it's for 2500-2000( sub that I dare to think actually ) .....
      So it's kind of the shittiest watch " investment" around to be had at around 5k

    The Chrono uses Breitling's movement with Tudor's adjustments. It's a bit thick but does built like a tank , feels premium .

    • @rickjason215
      @rickjason215 4 місяці тому

      The Breitling Premier is better looking, but more expensive. The movement is very solid.

    I have this watch too, I bought it on the bund strap and swapped it out for the steel bracelet from the previous generation of the Tudor Chrono without the Faux rivets.
    If they make a mk2 of this watch, I hope they reduce the thickness of the watch by 1mm and the diameter by 2mm. It would make a huge difference in the look and feel.

    glidelock is so you can wear it over a wetsuit. no reason to be on a non-diving watch

    • @WatchUnwind
      @WatchUnwind 3 місяці тому

      While this is true that’s what it’s intended for. I’d say Most people who wear i sub use it as the micro adjust on the fly. I use it like 3x a day when I’m wearing my sub my wrist fluctuates a lot. Of course a modern watch needs a micro adjust as evident but mostly all luxury watches having one, hence his issue with Tudor not having one.

    5:05 really? It's not as good as any Rolex? Even a Rolex from 30 years ago? This watch is 10 times better than any Rolex from 20 or 30 years ago. Get off your high horse just because you own a little basic stainless steel submariner (I'm saying this as a Rolex and current sub model owner myself). Kids these days buy themselves a little basic steel sports Rolex and get the ego/superiority complex of 10,000 men in battle in the Persian war. We get it bro, you think you know what quality is because you own a Submariner 😂. Own a Lange and a Patek, then you're qualified to say that you're spoiled by actual haute horology quality.

    Tudor often is just a homage brand to Rolex back catalogue. When they do try their own design, and you are not being dazzled by Rolex feelings, it's just a cheap, chunky watch with a non in house movement. Hard to connect with a brand who's sole purpose was to make Rolex accesible. Yes…the phrase poor mans Rolex fits. So in a world of luxury…the brand promise is….at odds with itself.
