Check romaniacs or similar races, they 99% on 2t. Of course you can stall it too. Question is what is easier to manage.
@inevespace they're the same due to design. Every engine is deisgn with the appropriate rotational mass so as not to stall. The number of bangs has nothing to do with it.

People need to keep lowest possible rpm to find traction from stand still and simultaneously have enough rpm range on one gear because you can't shift on obstacles. One misfire or minor mistake with clue ch from rider and 4t stalls. 2t is easier to manage in such condition. Also 2t heats less. People can overheat 4t, fans don't have enough airflow then you bash throttle without moving.
