  • Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI), the owners of Chooks to Go, sells over 200 million chicken products every year.
Tennyson Chen started out running his own poultry farm but eventually started expanding nationwide rapidly. When the ASEAN free trade agreement came into effect, in order to defend their market share, BAVI launched Chooks to Go.
Today, Chooks to Go has close to 2,000 branches nationwide, and in 2022, it was listed as 2nd biggest fast-food chain in the Philippines and ranked 61st worldwide.

The great thing about choks to go is that they are 1 of the few food brands who would honor senior citizen discounts

The guy who founded it probably got the idea from Australia. In Australia chickens are called chooks and there's a lot of of charcoal chicken shops.

I jokingly tell people that chooks to go says it tastes better without sauce, because they can't make good sauce

Companies in Philippines are always owned by Chinese last names! Not anymore, 1 month from now I will be doing my own filipino owned Business na tunay na pinoy, born in Philippines with a filipino last name. Tama na ang mga intsik na palagi may malalaking business sa pinas tulad ng Jollibee chooks to go, Megaworld, SM etc. Support me kababayan, I will make sure its for filipino by the filipino and for the filipino, I will help the Philippines and ang ating mga kababayan, ofcourse chinese pressure will heat me considering 90% of huge companies and tons of small companies are owned by chinese people, I will still try to break this norm para sa Pilipinas. Matatawag talagang atin!
