Peter like Christopher lee a mild mannered gentleman with wonderful personality, i miss him dearly like i do with Christopher, the gentle giants of the film industry.
Beautiful tribute to Peter Cushing. I too fell in love with Whitstable the instant I saw it. My husband and I have visited for the last 11 years now. Would love to live there.
Thank you so much, that means so much coming from another fan of Mr Cushing, he truly was wonderful and even though I'll never be able to meet him properly, this experience was the next best thing, which I wanted to share with others. Kind regards, and very best wishes.
I saw him first as Grand Moff Tarkin. I was immediately intrigued by him. Later he was the Sherlock Holmes of my childhood. But the discovery of the old Hammerfilms.... what a joy.
Brought tears to my eyes such an awesome man this is such a lovely tribute to him thank you. Was at Whitstable this weekend where his spirit can be felt whever you go and I shall be returning again in a few months time. RIP Peter you are always forever be in our hearts.
Hiya there, as far as I know, the whereabouts of Peter's exact resting place is only known to a select few close people, and has never been made public. However, this does not mean there are no areas in Whitstable that could provide an alternative place to pay your respects, in fact, quite the opposite. There is the Cushings' former home on the front, as well as Cushing's View (with the bench) which would be an ideal place, I left flowers there last year myself. I hope you enjoy Whitstable
that's the way to remember a towns favorite son.none of us lives forever, cushing will,in his v films.it/s hard to come up with someone more deserving then him

I used to live in Canterbury when I was studying at the Univ of Kent and visited Whitstable and its oyster house often. I also visited Peter's wife's grave in 1994. He was a childhood hero of mine, along with Christopher Lee and Vincent Price. Wonderful video. Thanks so much for sharing

Been to Whitstable a few times and always drink at Old Neptune. There's a Wetherspoon's pub there called 'The Peter Cushing'. Canterbury is within easy reach. I believe that PC died there in a hospice.
Lovely tribute to one of the greatest people in the world.. Did you write and play the music that accompanied the video.. If not could you please tell me who did
Great tribute, I read a while back Brad Pitt stayed in his house whilst filming at Pinewood "Interview with the Vampire", not sure if it is correct though?

The Man was and is one of the finest human beings to walk this planet...Words are not enough to say what he means to me...A Genuine "Gentle" man...
@92af I presume it was taken in the early 90's, as it's Peter at Cushing's View, the photo is in the Whitstable Museum. Thanks for watching. Dave
