God has created a “pause” for our work week with what the Bible calls a “Sabbath”. The Sabbath is to be a time of rest and is intended to benefit us both PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY. We need to rest physically-to be “off” and recharge our batteries, so to speak. But even more than that, we need rest for our souls that can only be found in a relationship with Jesus. There are a lot of tired and weary people in our world-tired of running from God, tired of an empty life, tired of the lies, and the shame and the weight of sin. Jesus invites us to come to Him and find rest for our souls. But there are three things that can hinder entering God’s Rest. Join Pastor Gary as he discusses these things and teaches about what it means “to find rest for your soul.”

Jesus the Son of God set and example of sabbath day in Mark.
Mark 1:21; And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
On Sabbath day, doing things that glorifies the Kingdom of Heaven which is worship
The sabbath is saturday not Sunday. No where in the bible did God commanded us to keep the 1st of the week as sabbath. The lord said Remember the sabbath to keep it holy . Becoz people tend to forget n changed Saturday to sunday which is sun worship. Rome changed the day of worship from ssturday to sunday. There is no biblical command for us to keep sunday as the bible sabbath. Pls research on this pastor
Rome also changed baptism from, In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ;to the name of Father Son Holy Ghost.
Sabbath is one day in a week that you must rest reflecting what the Lord has done to the mankind in redemption and salvation. It also commemorates when Jesus resurrected ( Sunday)from death as prophesied by all the prophets. Christianns who are disciples of Christ must honour Him on Sunday.Sabbath was useful in the Old Testament as a shandow fulfilled in the Gospels among other prophesies and moral codes inclusive of Revelation by John from Christ Himself.
Some people possibly work on Saturday or Sunday. They may choose another day during the week to honor Our LORD.
No- it wasn’t Acts that made Sunday the Sabbath, it was Constantine that made it Sunday. He hates the Jews and changes it - there were other reasons he did it too
