Hello from Tennessee I am almost 60 years old and even though I have been around Christians my whole life and raised with a Baptist preacher for a Dad I broke away from all of the religeous stuff when I became an adult and never paid much attention to the scriptures but God had his own plan for me and I started reading the Bible a few years ago. It came down to just God and me. So I have been studying and reading and praying. I stumbled across the Revelation study and went thru the whole thing and now I understand it a lot more. I have never had anyone teach the way you do and explain everything. Thank you. So I have a question about John 12:4 It says Judas Iscariot, Simon's son. Which Simon is this talking about? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I would never think of him being lazy. All men sit around gabbing waiting for the women to finish making Dinner. Few house holds have men that help women with the meal. It would be nice while they are waiting instead of gabbing if they took the time to read the bible to each other and the women.
