@@france.the_bastard I bought one in 2011 for 230 bucks, its overpriced now, but the sound of those humbuckers is unique, depends what genre you play, if you not particularly interested in those pickups, there are more mosrite copies out there

Nice playing but none of it represents the reason players use Hi Fliers. They're straight up gnarly punk rock machines. That's why Cobain played a Phase 3 Hi Flier. And if you're gonna own a Hi Flier it's worth the extra 300 bucks to get the real thing - a Univox. The Univox humbuckers are how Cobain got that raging sound. The plastic covered P90s from the Phase 1 and 2's are nice too. But to get THAT tsunami of blistering punk fuzz power like Cobain you need the Phase 3 Hi Flier.
In Bloom Beautiful !
Nice cover of In Bloom too
RJ's playing is so inspiring! And the guitar is so nice!
Holy chit, that In Bloom jam was wonderful.
Hands down my favorite guitar in my collection. Thank you for making a lefty!
First song: _Messin With The Kid_ by Junior Wells
Holy, chimney! This guy, RJ, is a hidden gem. I thought I spent too much time online looking at gear and demos. This is my first RJ vid. Subscribed.
He's an amazing player!
I'm a simple man. I see an RJ video and I click the link to enjoy some tasteful playing.
Beautiful Nirvana's In Bloom cover
I own one of this bad boys
Construction is outstanding
Neck is like a 59s Les Paul
Killer killer tone
What's not to like
wdym neck is like a 59 les paul? is it particularly fat or thin?
@@france.the_bastard i got an original one, its not like 59 lp its very thin, the neck is a specific design thou, not strat or lp neck copy
@@peterkovacslovakia ahhh okay you have an original Univox one? I've seen a couple on reverb are they worth the $600-800?

RJ, you are a very very super cool deeper player.

This is so cool
RJ rules
If I could play like RJ I’d give my. . . Well, I’d give a lot.
who here for 1989 NIRVANA tone ?
Sorta I accidentally got that bleach tone for my band on a different guitar an cause of bleach I know this guitar can do that tone super well
Could you be any more boring?
@@boopsnoot2807 yes, how about nevermind tone ?
Sounds great
What effects are going on between 2:12 and 4:07???Thanks
Sounds like reverse delay and maybe a little bit of drive
@@Dampzombieslayer +volume pedal
Is it an auto swell pedal?
Does this guitar have good Les Paul-like sustain?
I have I thunk a phase 1 with soapbox pickups
How can anyone possibly give a thumbs down?
How low is the action? And does it come in different colors?
You can set the action up however you like and, yes, it does come in different colors: eastwoodguitars.com/products/univox-hi-flier

guitar sounds good - not a fan of the inverted "horns" tho
Inverted horns: It's a Mosrite thing.
Did I hear some Sturgil Simpson?
That switch position really wouldn't work for me.
Rafael Andrade lmao me neither but it’s a sick guitar so I’m gonna just deal with it I guess
