I watched a channel where the woman refurbished a vintage lamb skin flap in good condition. She used a leather cleaner with a soft cloth first, then a leather lotion, which the bag drank up. She lotioned it three times, until the bag did not soak it up anymore, then she buffed it with a dry cloth. Any scratches disappeared. She said you can use a high quality black leather polish on black bags on worn corners. Alternatively, you send your bag out to get “spa’d “ by a reputable restorer. It came out like new. You can’t do that with caviar. I mean, you can, but scuffs and scratches won’t disappear.
Many of the people who buy the authentic ones have kids in college and have huge student loans and unpaid home mortgages, but still spend thousands of dollars on handbags. I often recommend *condup* to them, they have good quality brand bags.
I have Chanel bags and their imitation bags, but lately I have been buying super fake ones on *condup* because I think the way luxury merchants raise the prices of luxury bags insults our intelligence.
OK, I personally think *jklux* its bags are my favorite products I have ever used. Although they are not high-end luxury goods, after I have been using them, my family life has no longer been divided because of my personal preferences.
Yes I know not everyone can afford these bags, but wouldn't people want to know other people's experiences with this bag before wasting their money? Like other UA-camrs have said about this bag, I got a *jklux* and I'm very happy with my bag. Thanks to the blogger, I showed this video to my sister and now she will definitely get the Louis Vuitton bag she has always wanted! Love this kind of videos!!
Thank you for this! New to Chanel and was deciding since the boutique only had lambskin if I will just be so sad once I have my first scratch, but you made me feel so much better about it.
I just found your channel and I wish you were still posting, I love your presentation style!! I just scored the 21P Caramel, it’s basically brand new and I feel so lucky!! It’s my first lambskin, I have a couple caviar and love them but the lambskin is just 👌🏻😍 Do you treat your lambskin bags with anything or condition? Ty!!
I like caviar when I’m in a rush but lambskin just feels more luxurious. Since the classic flap is such a formal bag and I don’t use it daily, I would pick lambskin 💕
Agreed! I’m glad to have caviar for those days I know I’ll be running around (and maybe carrying a bunch of shopping bags 😎), but the lambskin is too gorgeous not to enjoy once in a while ✨
Hi! In person, they look like the same color. Does it look like two diff colors on the video though? I've heard of this happening in bags so I've been specifically checking for this when purchasing!!
Thank you for the comparison. IMHO, caviar leather feels more durable and looks more casual. I have and love both. The lamb skin leather is tougher than it looks. My 8-year-old tote is still shiny with virtually no signs of wear and I carry it at least 6 days a month. Love your comment about not putting a handbag on the floor. Honestly, I cringe whenever I see someone shove a bottle of water into these expensive items but that’s just IMHO ☺️
Awesome that your lambskin tote is going strong! Gives me hope 😊 And I would rather sit a bit uncomfortable with the bag on my lap than put it on the floor!!
What confuses me is that people say lamb skin is easier to damaged but caviar is more damaged permanently? So if you're careless, you can just take your lambskin into refurbishment often and it will be ok again?
What made you buy to black in caviar and lambskin? Also, do you find them different enough. Asking because I have the caviar but can’t stop thinking about the black lambskin. Trying to justify it since I do have the black lambskin square mini as well.
I justified it by using the bags for different things -- the caviar for casual and the lambskin for dressy. That's not to say they can't be used the other way around, but this is how I justify it!!
Thank you so much - I try to think long and hard about the bags I add to my collection! Let me know if you end up adding a caviar and what you think! ☺️
Thank you for this video, it was very informative. Could you please tell us how to recognise a lambskin less thin/ more durable (how does it look or feel like) ?
Thank you!! So glad to hear it was informative. I usually think lambskin is thin if it’s readily wrinkling - in my opinion, new bags shouldn’t be already super wrinkled! Also sometimes it feels thin to the touch. Hope this is helpful!
@@lawluxlove2281 it is very helpful and does make so much sense. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and your unique way to analyse and explain things.
Hi, I wanted to buy the mini because its more affordable.. However.. I've got kids and I know I will want to wear the bag EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY! Do you think I should spend More money and buy the small in caviar as it's more durable instead of the mini in lambskin?
As far as capacity, the small and mini fit pretty much the same amount - this is because of the double flap in the small flap. So if you’re concerned with capacity, no need to spend on the small because the mini will fit the same. However, if you’re concerned more about durability, the caviar will certainly be a better every day every where bag. Hope this helps!! Let me know what you end up deciding! 🤍
No it doesn’t hold its value …especially if you use it and you have ware on the bag and you sell with commissions. People please understand bags are poor investments and depreciating assets such as cars
You need to keep them for many years in order to make money. Example, if you bought a medium classic flap in 2003, you can sell it for 3x what you paid for.
Depending on the use and how long one has it for, it can certainly hold its value. This is different than beating up the bag and trying to sell it the next year of course.
For some reason the classic in lamb looks like an old ladies bag to me. Other lamb styles look better tho. I think the classic in caviar just looks more attractive and looks more for a young woman
The variety of textures in the Mirbag pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

Totally true - caviar is harder to scratch up but also harder to fix!
Can you link the video please??!
@@Oatmealxxx Oh, gosh, I wish I could remember. Basically, I told you how she did it, but if you want to see a demo, try the “search” function.

Finally somebody said that!!! About how it will look like in 30 years with good care
Thank you for watching!! Happy to be the one to add this point of view :)
Great video. Will be buying my first Chanel soon and leaning towards caviar
Thank you!! Yay!!! Caviar is a great choice.
I want the flat quilted look so much!
I see more and more in the preloved market!
Lambskin is definitely a lot more luxurious. Caviar is more casual to me so it really just depends on how you plan to use your bag.
Agreed! Though I do see some women rocking their lambskin bags casually (I'm jealous)

Such a thorough walk through with lots of great points!
Thank you! So glad it was informative!
I prefer caviar, but I'm so picky about it. 2021/22 caviar (like your bag) has been stunning, the nicest I have seen
Thank you so much! I got lucky with this batch.

Lambskin seems more like the real deal. Something you would see in a French boutique.
I've definitely heard that French women prefer lambskin!
My dream bag. ❤
Hello I have a question does your black caviar bag have 2 different gold color hardware like the clasp and chains ?❤❤❤❤❤

Love and prefer lambskin ❤
There’s just something so lux about it!

I prefer the lambskin. I remember being shocked when they released caviar.
I only have lamb skin! The grains of the caviar is very causal!
And the caviar used to be cheaper too! I see both as beautiful but in very different ways.
I got the caviar and exchanged to lambskin b/c I feel it's more luxurious ..
Gorgeous collection. I only have lambskin, but would love to add a caviar medium.

The crease above the back pocket from opening the flap repeatedly bothers me the most. That’s why I tend to go with caviar.
Good point. The lamb certainly creases easier!
I prefer caviar than lambskin
Hi.. can you tell me about the bag size? Is it small size?
Hello! These are all size medium/large.
Love this video. ❤️
Thank you for watching and for the kind words! ❤️❤️
Lambskin is the crème de la crème when it comes to Chanel. It’s what makes it so luxurious looking. Caviar doesn’t give off that same luxurious vibe.
Lambskin is definitely the more lux vibe!
Lambskin is easier to restore

Super interesting! Maybe because the caviar tends to lean more casual aka less serious?
Of course, agreed
