For those who don´t understand. The box was supposed to crash into the fire and spikes and then the crowd was supposed to gasp, thinking he was dead, and then he miraculously shows up behind them.
yeah, but nobody expected him to go for coffee, before re-appearing!
Peter Sedesse no he was supposed to be a crew who extinguish the fire and turn around and reveal himself like his previous act.

@@PoochieCollins there is at some point a switch with a double. Hard to see in a show that cut everything. But basically the magician gets off the stage, then through a hallway he can enter the spectators area (mostly through a curtain so you wont get disteracted by a door opening) and tadaaa...

Ugh no. Typical Tyra being the attention-stealing diva she has to be. Demian really got screwed by the production team messing up his act and the judging panel and host making the whole scenario about them

Well, something went wrong with one of his acts. There was one stunt guy, who replaced him after he "escaped" the box so people would think he was still inside the box. The guy, however, failed to get out of the box himself. After the time was up and the box dropped, the unavoidable happened, getting him stabbed in his back by some big needles/stalagmites (I don't know the correct word lol) and splattering real blood all over the place.
The situation was far more awkward than this one, especially when real paramedics emerged to handle the injured stunt guy, yet he still showed up to "calm down the audience".
If my story is confusing, well, I'm not proficient in English lol

The music, the pause while in the box, the facial concern, that black screen in the background to hide an escape route, the box itself just large enough to hold two men, one already inside the box, remains inside showing his hands while the other escape from the back side, into the darkness of the background on a ramp then down a ladder, all the crew people moving in and out quickly, the magician blending in as one of them. Tell Sherlock we got this. 😎
