I liked the keyboard more but wish we would have stuck with what the original idea was and just recorded it better
Definitely used the wrong mic for this. Need an instrument mic, positioned closer and less gain. Could've been a gem.
I’m a professional steel drum player and I’ll say you did pretty good. Now steel drums are very difficult instruments to record so you don’t feel too bad that it didn’t sound as great as the record. Most steel drum sounds aren’t even live steel drums they’re synthetic creations of what steel drums sound like. Also I watch all your videos you’re so damn good! Keep it up 👍🏾
