multi launch-yes, hangtime-yes, airtime-yes, inversions-yes, vertical spike and drop-yes, backward section-yes...this coaster packs a lot on a limited track length
Vekoma has been on a roll lately. Can't wait to ride a new gen Vekoma. And big thank you for allowing us to watch these interesting, unique rides from Asia! I always look forward for updates on this channel.
The Vekoma Boomerang has been reborn again, I see. Only this time, this is NEW AGE Vekoma! This creation, seeing the layout and the POV, has blown me away. I hope one of these gets built in the U.S.! This looks AMAZING
Excellent video. You did two things a that large number of people who make coaster videos fail to do. You included an establishing shot of the entire track so we had a context to understand the POV ride video, and you gave us a clear look at the ride vehicle so we knew what the riders were in. Well done. I hope more people follow your example!
I love Vekoma's new track, they are smoother than even the smoothest B&M's. All I keep hoping now is that they do a hyper coaster, as that's what they haven't done yet and I am sure we would all really like to see what they come up with. They used to be my most hated coaster company, but now, honestly, if I was building a park I would go to Vekoma for almost everything. The only other things I would add are an RMC Hybrid. This new launched boomerang looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to ride one next year.
@@mynameiskrysta The size and length of the ride and the variety of elements. Even though you’re basically going back and forth, it doesn’t seem like the same track.
Six Flags is building one of these with an identical layout at Six Flags Great Adventure. Six Flags New England ripped out their Giant Inverted Boomerang a while back, and there is, oddly, an old regular Boomerang right next to the location. The ideal thing to do with the plot might be to rip out the other Boomerang and put in one of these in the combined plot. There's a nice symbolism in the new Boomerang inheriting the place of the old.
I may get this if I make it back for Asia games in Hangzhou. First trip to China a month ago (as an enthusiast) was incredible. Crazy how many Vekomas keep heading there! Love ur content Masane!!
Hopefully not replace. The sky rocket 2 is fun, inexpensive and takes very little space, as well they're all relatively new and don't need to be replaced anytime soon But this could definitely be another option for parks with limited space
Vekoma is on fire. Only thing I could see them improving is adding a switch station like Premier's "Sky Rocket II" model so they can load the next train while one is going through the course. I prefer this layout to Premier's.
I am just going to say it, even though it will be controversial - I am also really happy that Vekoma is using some sort of over the chest restraint. Yes I am glad they are not typical OTSR where you can bang your head, but for me to truly feel secure in a coaster with so many inversions and so much hang time (i.e. for me to feel comfortable enough to have my arms up the entire ride), I still want something that MAKES me feel secure. Maybe because I am quite tall (193.5 cm), with lap bars, sometimes I feel like I can fall out. I will still ride anything though, and on non inverting coasters or coasters with just one inversion, lap bars all the way. But for multi loopers I really do prefer the type of restrain Vekoma is using here. As long as they lock in place and don't tighten during the ride.
Looks to me like there are five launches (with the one in the tunnel only engaging when going forward and the one closest to the second spike only engaging backwards). Hagrid’s has six.
This ride looks awesome! Huge improvement from the old model. I really hope we can see more of these new-gen Vekoma Boomerangs around the world. Also the guy on the left of the pov looks like Kevin Lerdwichagul lol
The alarm that plays for dispatch at 0:38 sounds exactly like my hospitals alarm for when we call a Rapid Response on a patient. It made me jump out my bed💀😂😂
This looks great! Thanks for sharing Could you share your opinion of the coasters you ride as well, perhaps in the video description? I often wonder if the coasters are fun and smooth or not to ride, especially with the new and interesting Jinma coasters. Is this one as fun as it looks?
Hello, there is no way to contact you by email so i'm trying here : would it be possible to use this video in one of our "Advent Calendar" video please ? It would be about the Super Boomerang planned to open next year at SFgreatAdventure. Of course, we would credit you in the video AND in the description with a link. Thank you very much !!
i think there won't be a vekoma super boomerang in sfne anytime soon maybe if something big gets torn down then maybe but as a goliath replacement? i don't think so
What even are these elements? The first looks like a very late rolling Immelman and the next some kind of zero g roll which finishes at a higher altitude than it starts. Super smooth coaster 👍
It seems incredibly fun, but I doubt that there will be many popping up outside of China. They aren't nearly as compact as their old Boomerang model and are probably much more expensive. I'd love to see some in Europe, but I highly doubt that this model will truly catch on.
The footprint is very thin--often a park can fit something long in if it is very narrow. Premier's Sky Rocket II is popular in part for that reason. Six Flags is already building an identical one of these at Great Adventure in New Jersey. I can see them putting in more--I'd like to see one at Six Flags New England, which potentially has a place where it would fit.
Looks great. Wait a vertical lift hill it would have been better in my opinion But apart from that it looks great. The stall backwards should be Amazing.
multi launch-yes, hangtime-yes, airtime-yes, inversions-yes, vertical spike and drop-yes, backward section-yes...this coaster packs a lot on a limited track length
The only downside is the capacity, but it looks like a great fit for small parks.
@@Cascade777 the trains look pretty long. At least it’s not those short 3 car trains
Just the pacing feels wierd
You just described pantheon and toutatis as well 😂
@@Apollosdemise nope...read the last part: on a limited track length, those coasters are not on a limited track length.

Very good.
Guess Transmart's bulk orders really supercharged their R&D budget afterwards
Hi can I use some of this in a video I’m making? I’ll provide credit to your channel of course!
A video on super boomerangs would be cool Ngl.
Vekoma has stepped up their game in the industry tremendously! Parks need to take notice and invest in their new generation coaster types.
Looks like another amazing new gen Vekoma. Wish it went a bit further up the spikes, but other than that, the complete package of a ride.
Very good.
the spikes are only so tall in case of failure it won’t shoot off the end it’s the case for like every type of these rides
@@max-_-6352 so needs a bigger spike and launch so backwards is faster.

Looks like great adventure might be getting it.
Might be Great adventure sixflags
SWEET!!!
GA got it. It was announced today
@@bufu4777WHAT?! I NEED PROOF! NOW!!! 😮😮😮😃😃😃
I can't overstate how much I love this. I could only dream of a coaster like this when I was a kid.
I know, right?
As a kid is the important bit. Capacity and throughout on this ride is horrendous and needs a turntable. Or a loading station.
Who’s here after finding out Six Flags Great Adventure is getting one of these?
Me
Looks insane, this will be ranked higher than it’s anticipated to
It's now delayed til next year.
Yeah, but now we found out we’re losing kingda ka as a result”/

Interesting design. It’s more like a full-circuit coaster than a shuttle. The restraints look comfortable.
How exactly is is more like a full circuit than a shuttle

Just noticed this is the longest MK1101 Train . it has 6 cars
Still 1 less than the original 1200 and 1212 trains
@@TomtycoonI expect six cars is going to be the limit from now on, at least with the 2x2 seating.
That zero g + spike is giving batman and Robin the chiller 😍
Wow! Finally we get to see a POV of this amazing ride!! Thank you!
Wow! That stall! With the new Vekoma trains and track, this looks like a top tier ride.
I never thought I would say this but that boomerang looks really fun! Well done, Vekoma.
Yes Great Adventure confirmed 🙌🏾
Looks really great, thanks for the POV!
This can only be awesome. Great trains too
Looks great. is that the first backwards stall?
Also are those arches around the track the slinky dog dash arches or am i crazy
This looks like that green sea dragon shuttle coaster on RCT3 & I love it.

That looks very nice and deserves to get talked about a lot more.
The hangtime on this thing is ridiculous! We need one of these in the states.
Were getting one at six flags great adventure
FINALLY A POV!!!
This is a fantastic design, well done Vekoma 👏👏

Apparently they might build one at six flags great adventure but dont quote me on that
Holy bajeezus that reverse hangtime looks gnarly.
Need these to start popping up here in the states

Found this video because they are building an identical coaster near me at Six Flags in New Jersey. I can't wait!
That looks great! The launches seem very punchy too!
Looks awesome. Thanks for posting!
This actually looks terrific!
Looks fantastic, but would be amazing with a switch track to also help combat some capacity issues.

Is this the coaster with the most launches in one ride cycle?

Looks amazing
I ... really want some McDonalds now
can't wait for a super boomerang to come to my home six flags park (Great Adventure)
Anyone suspect this model coming to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2024?
I think it could use more speed from the launch after the half stall, the dive loop and spike look rather slow

What's the throughput on this per hour?
This looks amazing only issues is without a switch station the capacity on this will be awful.

The only thing I would change is to make it go up the spikes a little higher. Besides that, this looks amazing.
The problem is that you need a buffer area in case of freak winds. It also helps to increase hamgtime.

Looks amazing, but a capacity nightmare, no?
