They made this one map and then reused maps for every other side mission without even removing targets from the story mission

The artificial intelligence is not the brightest and still has a lot of flaws, but it will improve over time with gradual progression from the developers and the evolution of coding and the nature of artificial intelligence itself. They just need to make the artificial intelligence more adaptable and acceptable to any variables that change existing conditions to a degree and give those NPCs with said artificial intelligence unique reactions of their own that seem appropriate to a given scenario.

It's the lack of awareness and appropriate reaction by the artificial intelligence that takes away from the immersion of the game to an extent. I'm sure if the developers perfect some of these issues with the non player characters and change this issue around with a more self preserving artificial intelligence that can take more cues from what is being implied by the conditions set by the players, this game will improve drastically, especially since the intelligence and awareness of the NPCs serve to be a core aspect in detecting and circumventing the player from breaching the security by providing a decent challenge to the player's stealth abilities. It just takes time and attention to detail by the developers.
@@Agent-vy1pl People forget that the lack of awareness and appropriate reaction is done on purpose. They could easily make it more difficult, but every game needs to be forgiving for it to be fun. It's not a hitman simulator, but a game. Making the AI ''dumb'' is another way of making them predictable. To make a game where AI is unforgiving does not make it fun at all. Imagine playing a map on master with suit only, silent assassin and sniper assassin and the AI notices you from extremely far away because you happen to do something weird. How unfair would that feel? The point is that the dumbness gives the player tools to make them feel like an actual hitman. That it is on purpose is shown by the coins, and the really awkward way they always pick it up, no matter if the person is already extremely rich or whatever. Or that no one questions the fact that doors suddenly open with no one standing there.
@@marannebbeling9799 that's true, this isn't Dark Souls, most of people actually like to win and a lot of others (like me) like to have multiple ways to complete objectives, which is what Hitman provides. This feature relies heavily in the NPC difficulty, imagine if every guard could see your code behind your head could notice you are disguised from miles away or by 47's voice, or could inform themselves on your previous not so professional outcomes in the other missions, just like how every game affects the other in Escape From Tarkov, but *this isn't Escape From Tarkov*
Yes, the AI is stupid, but that's what makes the game playable and fun for most of the people

@@TheGreatslyfer, yeah, let's see them throw a keyboard or controller onto their screens when an alarm raises for every single camera destroyed (since losing connection with one is either malfunction or tampering/sabotage, and most areas 47 is having to run into are high security zones or have gotten reinforced security due to previous incidents), when they have to disable 3 or even more recording systems because each area of larger maps have each their own backup systems and the snaller maps have several in different security rooms, that if things get too rowdy SWAT or heavy enforcers would actually come gunning for the player, when hiding a body/unconscious NPC in containers it only works outside high alert, and once it goes off, all hiding spots are thoroughly searched, voiding most silent assassins methods to hide knocked out NPCs out of sight, when the briefcase only lets you carry large illegal items on areas where ypu can do so without having to go through a frisking since checking for luggage you're also carrying is a normal procedure as well....
Hitman would be actually so hard and frustrating that the franchise may as well end up dying if they went over the board with realism, even giving NPCs a larger cone of view would screw several methods of sneaking in and out, a change of list of illegal items would also harm game opportunities (what if any weapon with silencer/Sound suppressor was illegal no matter the disguise? Or that ONLY weapons used by the local security is allowed? Or the ever standard lethal poison pills/syringe? And that to carry tools such as screwdrivers you have to use an adequate disguise at all difficulties?)

Damn, that is impressive. That map is super difficult for me, because you have to pick off certain bodyguards and main targets at specific times and in a specific sequence to achieve a Silent Assassin rating.
I really like how he's just sat comfortably while he guns down a lot of guards and 3 targets.
With how 47 is portrayed in the lore, this is exactly how I imagine he would actually operate.

Interesting how they are tying elements from Blood Money and 2016. The Shamal Casino is the one from Blood Money while Kalvin Ritter was the simulated target in the ICA Training Facility... nicely played. :)
That's Weird because it Says Kalvin Ritter is Dead I wonder if someone else Killed him or it was 47 himself (I know it sounds stupid/dumb but it's weird tho)
Ritter was assassinated before 47 joined the ICA. In HITMAN 2016, they recreate the mission for 47 as part of his training. The Ritter in that exercise is an actor and wasn't even killed, just pretend to kill him as it was a training.
Ritter was actually assassinated by Soders. Soders is eventually killed by Agent 47.
Actually, in the briefing and details it's not specified if Soders was the assassin of Ritter, the one we know for sure was his target was Knight. But perhaps considering that Soders was the 47 of that era, he might be the one who offed Ritter.
@@DonVecta Well ICA used Knight as a training program and Soders killed him with an ejector seat. I can only assume that Ritter was another of Soders targets and that's why you play that out too. Soders was legendary in his time and he was the model for training. Obviously 47 is the new assassin in town.

I somewhat agree. People are being a little too harsh on a system that hasn't even started to approach its peak yet. Artificial intelligence is still growing and it is far from perfect. In fact, many games have the same flaws. Even huge games like Red Dead Redemption 2 appear to have flaws with the articicial intelligence interaction system and certain cued up responses derived from the context of certain situations. The artificial intelligence is an adapting system that is slowly being built with knowledge to an extent and it's not completely reinforced. It just needs some time before the technology necessary to give NPCs intelligence the equivalent of a normal bystander's happens.

Harry J Your dumb. The bullet rounds are piercing, which will penetrate and sometimes even exit the body. There is a hole, of course they will bleed.

Ayee fellow Vietnamese here. Hitman is actually the first video game series I’ve ever seen include a Vietnamese character as simply another character (Jade Nguyen in Hitman Absolution). Other games would only include them because the story has something to do with the Vietnam war.

I know and played all games , but this game is sooo popular now and for all Bond, Bourne and John Wick fans, me including, not to mention dark scenes, during night. I love also Star Trek, just cant wait to see a mod like Starfleet Force, with enemies as Borg, Romulan etc and me as Starfleet Commando.

Some AI detect radius is bullshit too. They some time can see me dragging body even a slight peak of door or I am in the otherside of corridor.

What they mean by body piercing is that it will travel through a target and still be able to hit another. Not all rounds do this.

That's true. The artificial intelligence presiding over the characters needs a lot of refreshing and work to deal with situations like these to make gameplay a little more immersive and challenging.

@Michael Jones Not at that distance. An Designated Marksman could have hit all of those shots with ease. Its not like he is 700M away. Its more like 300. Its an average shooting distance, most shooters can hit just right. Some can even hit an tin can at 200m with iron sights, so... At least in the time my father was in the army, some of the shooters of the battalion (not sniper trained, it was an artilhary battalion) could hit an tin can at those conditions, so yea, he would not need an spotter.
My father could hit an tin can in 150m with iron sights, and he was not an gifted sniper...
Lots of breaking glass and the like and no one is observant enough to hear the gunshots or breaking windows from more than practically just a foot away.
