When I started watching UA-cam years ago I was annoyed by vloggers that had to constantly have there face in every shot I wanted to see the subject. I promise myself not to do that from the beginning Thanks Don👍👍
This reminded me of when I used to live in Oregon it’s so beautiful and lush green forests perfect for hiking and a lot of beautiful waterfalls there as well.
Just close your eyes and hear the sound of a high-pitched BZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZ and then the itch of the mosquito bites. That should to the trick. If it doesn't, think of all the nasty flies, ticks, chiggers that you can also find nestled among the green leaves.
Awesome! You found it! Sorry it's such a sloppy mess to walk through, but isn't it a cool place to see?. I love the history of the mountains, keep up the good work. Excellent job!!😊
And thank you Shirley Henshall for getting my favorite hikers yankeeinthesouth on the trail. I'm getting my list ready for a trip myself soon, thank you all.
I just stumbled across this channel, and it looks like it would be a really fun channel! Looking from you to Shirley is like looking at mirror images... You all have Got to be twins! I'm sure this has been covered in previous videos, but as I said I'm here for the first time, LOL! It's so great that you can take your sister with you and see all of these fun and fascinating places! She really seems to be enjoying it very much! Thank you for sharing, love it so far! ❤️🧚🌲
Will and Dawn, I really like the 🧚🏻♀️ fairy house. It is interesting, but I most definitely am not going over the path to the house. It’s a little too small or skinny for me, lol. Fantastic work again Will and Dawn.
Reminds me of what used to be called a spring house. Things that needed to be kept cool were stored there. But it seems an awfully long way from the house.
Be careful of snakes when you're on these trails or just hiking! We were there a few years back and my daughter and son-in-law helped women get her son to the hospital because he got bitten. Be mindful of bears as well because you are in their territory.

I was thinking of the labor required in the process to gather and transport the stones (were those steps hand chiseled to the correct size?), bricks (even 10 bricks is a heavy load), cement or sand and lime or whatever., pipes... to the perfect location. Home depot wasn't dreamed of and hardware wasn't likely within 100 mi radius. Then the build itself. I enjoyed your video. Thank you.
Go to Smokemont campground in Cherokee and hike about a mile up the mountain and in the middle of nowhere is the old Carver cemetery. There are some interesting homemade tombstones. Also there is another cemetery near the campground and a long abandoned amphitheater with trees growing in the sitting area.
Wow first time I've ever seen a spring house..the arched brick laying is amazing and that beautiful green moss growing on it makes it so picturesque love the history and actual photos from the past great video! P.s. (that wasn't much of a trail so grown up and snaky dont see how you could continue on be careful out there!) Lol I'm the birdie 🐦on your shoulder only way for me to see that gem....Thanks yaw!

Fairy houses blend into the environment so well they are nearly impossible to see unless you have spent years around the Fae.

I ALWAYS THOUGHT A FAIRY HOUSE WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A FLOWER POT
Fairies height is around 5ft and to make humans feel superior they made them sound small
@Jack Frost yes in many books they show that pixies and some types of pixies can grow up to 5 feet
Me too!
Yeah. Not a fairy house. Just an abandoned building, but it is pretty cool.
Fix it and cleaning it with Fairy 🧚🏻♀️ statue 🗽... Add some little garden 🏡 on that house ...

Any self respecting fairy wouldn't get near the iron hinges on the front door.
Hahahah not from the little I read, they wouldn't.
Why is that?.
Fairy is weak to steel type in terms of Pokémon. Maybe that's why
Because fairy hands will burn if they touch iron.
