I really really love this show/series "Together". I am a serious home chef, and all of these episodes inspire me to plan various cooking parties with family and friends. I enjoy sharing food (and smiles) whenever possible.
SOUNDS RANDY BABY
I never tire of watch Jamie Oliver's cooking shows. His recipes and enthusiasm always make me want to head straight to the kitchen and start cooking, even if it is 1am. I'm definitely making this for Xmas (looks way nicer than dried out, flavourless turkey)
Jamie your a joy to watch cooking up a storm in the kitchen ! So lovely to see family enjoy the food
Happy Christmas, so nice to see your parents again! Love to all and Happy New Year!
No doubt he is my favourite chef for his easy recipes and the way explaining them.
I like Nigella; Rick Stein too
He makes cooking so easy! Such nice family! God bless you and your family Jamie . Thanks for sharing your recipes with us.
I LOVE Jamie's face when he tries the beef. He makes that dish seem v v v v simple. Marinate everything for a day. Fry the beef. Slowcook for 4 h . Lovely. Ty Jamie ! ❤😊😅
Yummy… love the addition of ground cloves to make it Christmassy ❤️
Love it got the Together cookbook for christmas, will be using it tomorrow
Beef Bourguinon is an amazing traditional french dish... 😊👌👌👌👌👌
And its one of the tastiest i ever had!
One of the best chefs I've ever seen
I LOVE this dish. Make it often. Will certainly try your recipe. Yummo!

Oliver thank you for sharing it looks Awsome!!!😋😋😋and delicious
I miss the small caramelised onions and mushrooms on the top, but it still looks yummy.
Blimey, that Meat with a (not too generous) bitta Butter looked lovely when browned. Makes it all look so easy & utterly devour-able.👏
Kopppppp.
@@christinafranklin5107 = Not sure what that is tbh. 'Googled it, but no joy'.
Ah well.... Not much on your channel is there eh! LoL
Delicious. Merry Christmas 👍 ☃️ 🎄

its so good, I remember watching you on tv with my grandma and we did it next day, so much flavor and love, bring me good memories :)
I made the recipe form the book a few weeks ago and it was great!
Amazing 🤤🤤🤤
Merry Christmas ✨🎁🎆💖🎀
Merry Christmas. I have loved following your Christmas recipes. We do not eat turkey for Christmas but a pork roast. Could you make a recipe/video for a pork make ahead gravy. That would be greatly appreciated. I will be hosting Christmas for the first time next year and I could use all the help I could get.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to the whole team.
Jamie Oliver - Legend :)
Love me a chestnut for its nuttyness.
I got that book for Christmas. 😊
Oh so delicious 😋🤩👌👌👌
🔴 Easy and delicious. Thanks! 🙋♀🙋♀
Супер! Очень вкусно! Спасибо за рецепт 👍😋🎉🎄☃️❄️🎊
Love those who love you and forget those who don't value you.
I cooked Boeuf Bourguignon this Christmas too! Not your recipe, but it was amazing!
That looks YAMMIEE...like almost anything Jamie makes LOL . What I'm wondering if Jamie Oliver ever messed up making a meal for friends or family.
Overthinking is the biggest cause of unhappiness
meery christmas chef
Looks Good
Have always loved what Jamie cooks❤️. Incredible man with a magic touch. Also, was it missed in the video or did he not put salt in the dish😜?
No. He didn't put salt in it. Because all of Jamie's food is bland food made for white ppl. Literally no spices
@@markonino12 Do white people not cook with salt?
@@philiprobinson878 no
@@markonino12 I've been cooking with salt all these years and so has every white person I know. We must be freaks.
@@markonino12 salt isn't a spice mate.
Superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrb 👌
MY 1st MEAL IS BEEF BOURGUIGNON. VERY DELICIOUS MEAL ! 100% SUPER BEST !
Definitely tasty, not sure about beautiful! :D (like any stew - I serve it in separate bowls) Never tried to marinate it in wine, must try!
so when does salt come into Play?
Yummm
Jamie Oliver...👌👍🙏
Good man Jamie.
Not Now. When you are ready. Pok mince and a stir-fry. ? Happy New Year. God Bless
🤤
Very nice 👍
That’s NY sorted thank you
Cool
Good 😄
Watching this from Sydney Australia 🤳🇦🇺 . Hate how it's difficult/impossible to get chestnuts 🌰 in Australia anytime let alone at Christmas. 😞🇦🇺🇳🇴
😋😋😋👌
No mushrooms !? :o
I have looked very hard to see the recipe for this dish but I can’t find the type of beef that Jamie is using, I can work out the rest of quantities can anyone tell me?
Beef cheek
Marvelous, if you want, you can mix 10g of dark chocolat 20 min before ending cooking.
"Joyeux Noël" and "bon appétit" from France.
That is a good tip, flavour and shine both I’d think.
That sounds lovely
It has a strong taste of wine?
I will always read bourgignon in Julia Child’s voice.
Hi Jamie, maybe its been requested before, but how about recipes for old school dishes like pease pudding etc classic British food please, i believe this sort of food has been lost in time and they were what families back in rhe day grew up and lived on.
No salt?
I always wonder who these people joining at the end are…actors probably?
Pause at 2:50 and look who's on the far right
Может, на вкус это и неплохо. 😏 Вид очень непрезентабельный.
To me If the meat is fall apart, It'd have been overcooked and too dry. 3 - 3.5 hours is perfect time, the longer the dryer meats
Forgot the mushrooms...
I would've discarded the veggies used for marinating and added fresh vegetables so there would be more texture at the end.
One of the most classic meal of my country, and absolutely delicious indeed. Not to be chauvinist, but I'm glad to be French for the food and cuisine. I couldn't have been English, I like good food too much for that lmao
See I couldn't have been French because I'm not a fan of surrendering
Is it true that carrots and celery are not traditional ingredients in bouef Bourguignon? Also, I've heard tomato paste is not used either. Thank you.
@@louche33 Good for you to have just remembered WWII but in matter of fact, we also have the most battles won lmao, sorry to learn you that, just for your culture, we also have a lot in France , despite other countries it seems, thank you to have proven it
@@graken14 it's true, you can put every kind of vegetables at your taste of course, but most traditional is just with mushrooms and it's serve with potatoes or pasta sometimes. No tomato paste either.
In this and many other recipes, the meat is seared in oil. In other recipes, the meat is seared in the drippings of the lardons. Is one recipe better, or more "traditional" than the other?
Where’s the salt 🧂?
Вид конечно у мяса как будто его уже кто то сьел 🤣
Actually, for a home cook version, this is not bad and not as destroyed as all the asian dishes he presents. The only "twist" i would absolutely advise you to not follow is to put (ground) cloves in, it might just fck up the whole dish if you don't like the taste.
Chestnuts are probably ok, but i'd rather put them near the end to keep the crunch.
No bacon?!
PUKKA
Can't believe even Jamie thinks that adding olive oil to butter somehow changes the temperature at which the milk solids in the butter will burn. Spoiler alert: it doesn't! 😬 Best to use clarified butter or any other high smoke point oil if you need higher temperatures to cook.
That said, this is ofcourse a dynamite dish! 🤤
He's got a Cast Iron Dutch Oven right there and yet he sears the beef using a shitty Tefal non-stick pan.
Please send me the link for your recipes
Всё в кашу разварилось....((((
Похоже Джейми нужно прекращать кушать углеводы, а то скоро ютьюбу будет тяжело грузить его видео.
Garnishes, mate….garnishes…mushrooms and pearl onions, mate…
2 days for that little ammount of food just isnt worth the effort really
This recipe doesn't fking work Jamie, it burnt after 4 hours in the oven
Mushrooms and lardons are missing and marinating the beef is useless as it would cook for a few hours.
But still the middle of the beef is too mild without being marinated
Le bœuf bourguignon doit être préparé à la bourguignonne comme son nom l'indique et nécessite de longues heures de cuisson, rien à voir avec ce que vous montrez cher Monsieur, je vous invite à regarder les vraies recettes françaises.
that looks more like mashed meat ha ha ha, definitely not a nice presentation. Way overcooked, the meat must be tender and still hold in chunks, same with the veggies. Just check the Marco P. White recipe. You will see the difference
Jamie go gym.
you go school.
Absolutely zero char on that meat... Yikes
Look's like dogfood 🤷♂️
Looks.not.good at all
That is about the farthest away you can possibly get from beef bourginion. No tomato paste, no mushrooms. No pickled pearl onions. This is just a beef casserole at best.
It's either Boeuf Bourguignon or Beef Burgundy, but definitely NOT Beef Bourguignon.
It’s not that deep hun
Who cares?
That was your takeaway from this? Congratulations
Don't need to Marinade the meat!
This is not real beef Bourguignon. Missing:bacon, mushrooms and mini onions.
This looks terrible. 😱
This is a clear case of how to ruin a beautifull classic recipie, the consistency is wrong, where is the mushroom and onion garnish, and you never cover your meet in flour like that befor frying! THAT IS JUST BAD COOCKING!
To be honest, it looks terrible.
Terrible mess of a bourguinon. Looks half way to a soup.
that looks horrible sorry!!!!!
This is an insult to Beef Bourguignon ! ... OMG :/
I came looking for this comment. 🤣
