actually gj is trying 连麦 meaning he is trying to join zzh's live stream (and appear in his stream like a video chat). it doesn't mean he is getting a phone call from gj.
I think it was a phone call only, gj thought that his livestream would be over, so he tried to call him, shortly after he received the call, zzh ended the livestream and it was only for 10 mins.

He's growing his hair back out after shaving it off for the summer. He cut it so short that people were calling him "kiwi". If you watched the Word of Honor concert day 2, that's why the audience called out kiwi for the fruit game. Anyway, the clips are to help "steer" his hair in the right direction so that it doesn't grow out sticking up. I have to do that with my bangs as they grow out because they stick up when they're too short. The clips add enough weight to get them to go in the right direction while his hair is wet, and then when it dries, they won't stick up.
