I have the theory that everything takes time, if you are consistent with your English learning, sooner or later you will become fluent.
I like this theory!
I think it's not about fluency (that has to do with speaking), it's about listening comprehension, and that also takes time.
When I took an ESL course at College the first thing that my teacher said was “There’s no secret how to speak English, only practice, practice and practice”
Absolutely... Consistency is key. You gotta watch yourself and stay hungry (and humble). People take language learning lightly. It takes a hell of a time and effort to not only learn it but also keep it. Whenever someone tells me they gotta learn English quickly because they need it for work and so on, I just give them the truth. It's a long and windy road, my friend. (And it pays off)

I'm Brazilian and an EFL teacher. It's also interesting how the sound of 'd' in the end of some words changes when the next word starts with a vowel. For instance, 'watched' (ch-t) and 'watched it' (ch-di/ch-dit). Most of my students initially think I'm saying the former when I'm actually saying the latter. They think 'appreciate it' is 'appreciate' (because the 'e' at the end of a word is not always silent in Portuguese [depending on the accent]).
@@rchrd_sn So interesting! If I’m not mistaken, we’re talking about the “flapped t” sound which changes “d” sounds to “t” sounds in many cases (in American accents anyway!). This can truly be so strange for learners, and probably should have been included in this video. Thank you for your comment!

READ.
Read both fiction and nonfiction books. Read as many books and as much as you can. Read even the subtitles on the movie screen of your DVD or/and Bluray discs

English teachers often draw a contrast between "short" vowel sounds, as in "ship," and "long" vowel sounds, as in "sheep." This explanation always bugs me because, for example, when you sing a song, you may want to make a sound "long" or "short" depending on the tune not on pronunciation rules. So I'm happy you're not using the terms "long" and "short" in your explanation!

Initially, this video discouraged me a little. Of course, you did an excellent job explaining all these things, but I realized that English is more complicated than I expected. It’s really my fault that you felt overwhelmed - I tried to fit too much into just one video. I will keep this in mind for the future.
It would probably be more helpful for me to make 5 or more separate videos for each of the points that I talked about here!
There is a lot to know with listening pronunciation, but I hope it doesn’t ever discourage you or make you feel less motivated.
In the end, if you are enjoying the learning process, all of the elements in this video (and more!) will become clear to you with time.

Two things to say, I have kind of a doubt about the pronunciation of them and him, in the 3rd scene about this topic,I thought the girl said him instead of them idk why but but for are pretty similar. And the 2nd thing I have to say is THANK SO MUCH for these videos they are the best and most helpful I've seen❤

It’s 100 percent possible that “them” and “him” can sound the same in spoken English (they can both sound like “um” or [əm] in IPA). So without context, it’s true that we sometimes can’t tell if the person said “them” or “him” 🙁

How to differentiate between like "They've put" and "They put" while listening as you said in the video that " 've " doesn't necessarily to be pronounced? I mean How to differentiate between the past simple and the present perfect tense while listening?
Often, we simply cannot differentiate between the two. We would have to use the context or ask for clarification. However, this doesn't seem to cause any issues in misunderstanding because the two tenses are so close in meaning. If you can think of an example of where this might be confusing to a listener, let me know!

It takes time. Try to relax and master one at a time.
Look for them in context - For example, try searching (with Google or Youglish.com for instance) for example sentences that use the verb tense you are currently studying.
Examine how the sentences are being used in context and review the rules for usage and form.
How can I learn the methods of linking words like "what are you doing" => "whatcha doing", I can't find a course or resource about that, if you have or know, please tell me🥰

Hello! I’m not sure how clear I can be in a comment but I’ll try:
“Will” implies more certainty about a future event
“Would” implies uncertainty about a future event - that it may or may not happen depending on a condition
Examples:
I will go to the party. [it is certain]
I would go to the party (if I had a car, if I had money, if my friends went too, etc) [it’s uncertain. It depends on certain conditions]
In your example:
When will it be available? [it will be available at a certain time]
When would it be available? [there are some conditions implied. Depending on the conditions, it might never be available. We don’t know for sure].

@@apdallahelsayed2075 Oh interesting. There are certainly many ways that native speakers, myself included, use “incorrect” grammar in speaking.
This seems to be one of those cases. Although this example (“If I’m in England, I would…”) sounds quite strange to my ears, I imagine the speaker saying it has the same intentions as “If were in England, I would…”

@@apdallahelsayed2075 It’s technically incorrect to say “If I’m… I would…” (the correct way is “If I was/were… I would”) but we very often use “incorrect” or non-standard grammar in spoken English.
You will find many instances of native speakers using incorrect grammar in spoken English (I do it too sometimes!).
EVERYONE (presidents, CEOs, doctors) use non-standard grammar sometimes - it’s just that native speakers and non-native speakers tend to make different kinds of mistakes (and are judged differently for them).
