What a difference this team made in the last 5 years. We now got one of the best offense in the league from Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, John Tavares, Nazem Kadri, Patrick Marleau, Kasperi Kapanen, Connor Brown, Zach Hyman, etc. Frederik Andersen is solid in net. Defense is a bit weak but still got some solid pieces in Morgan Rielly, Nikita Zaitsev and in some aspect Jake Gardiner. We finally have a Stanley Cup contending team for years to come. The pain is over. They made the changes that needed to be done and are now about to indeed do something, hopefully bringing Lord Stanley back home! Go Leafs Go! The 2018-2019 Maple Leafs season should be the best one to come.
When you break your fans that have stuck with you for the last 40+ years to the point where there are actually seats available for games and people are consistently throwing there jerseys on the ice it shows you need to do something
