Even you can keep some criteria as fixed to constrain the comparison like First time buyer (old user ku sure they have an idea), Price range, 5-seater, Dual Airbag, ABS, All Power Windows, Reverse Parking sensor (Must have features).
So that you can narrow down the list and can tell which cars suits which user so that we can have an idea and can short list 3 cars and select one from it after test driving.

Again as you said you can not conclude the best as it’s the individual choice and may be you can list out categories like best fuel efficient , best driver’s car , best boot space , best seating comfort , etc , then it’s up to the buyer to decide . So this can at least help to have your expert opinion !!

Bro I have tata altroz petrol…i bought it in april 2021...i’m accepting all the draw backs which you are mentioned in that 1.2 petrol engine...but mileage wise its a better car. i’m getting 18 kmpl in city and 20.5 kmpl in highways.

Hi moto wagon team I have a suggestion for your upcoming podcast... Take me for example I'm from a proper middle class family who's dream is to own a car some day. I also don't know to drive, there are many people these days who are buying new cars without learning driving so here the suggestion. It's almost the end of 2022 so at this point of time if I want to buy a car just to learn how to drive and probably practice it for maybe an year or two as well before buying a brand new car... Very good take on cars. People should do homework before buying cars. Every car has pros n cons. Good Podcast. Liked it. You and your postcast are becoming more mature n mature. Vazthukal Sir and the Team.
Same case happened for my friend. Dealers provided diesel AMT for test drive and gets petrol AMT. The worst case is they lied diesel car as petrol vehicle during test drive.
Some dealers are providing false information during test drive to get bookings.
Another interesting content from MW. Loved the detailed explanation on the variety of cars that is on offer today. To someone who doesn't know exactly what he/she wants it is definitely a going to be a harrowing experience selecting the right car.
If there is a comprehensive questionnaire or checklist where the buyer's preferences are gathered, there by directing them towards set of say 4-5 cars, which the buyer can test drive and select one among it, it would be fantastic. I know MW is doing their part through consulting calls. But an app based service would be great.

I think reliability engine and mileage safety under 10lakh is low but 10 lakh to 12 lakh Honda amaze,Suzuki balano and Toyota
Each car has different strengths,
1 Power
2 Mileage
3 Safety rating
4 Features for the price
5 Handling and driving capability
6 Service factor
So a car can be decided by each considering some of the factors above, so for some a car might be good, for some it might not.
So as Asir bro said it upto the individual to find the right one. its like finding the right compromise, for eg you cannot expect a great mileage in a Venue N line or turbo for that matter, and brezza has a 4 pot 100 hp engine which is more tuned towards mileage as the power tapers of towards the top keeping mileage in mind, here hyundai says you either buy a entry level 83ps 1.2 kappa or a 120 ps turbo like no in between like a brezza.
I have a question. If my budget is 10 lakhs, should I buy the top variant of a small car or base variant of a big car? Please try and answer.

Loving this Altroz DCA ranting😅Even am clueless why there are so much of variants while the VFM variant for Nexon is XM or XMS(Honestly for the price of the sunroof they could add an infotainment system, and steering wheel controls), Again XZ is a pointless variant. While we are waiting for the facelift, TATA keeps on launching the different variants with just color changes amusingly Nov 11th they are launching another pointless NRG variant for Tiago with just color or theme change. Social media is full of safety Pep talks while the actual tata owner cries about the service & reliability issue.
I'm a proud TATA owner for a long time, not crying pa, where you see people cry. Get out of your bed, drive a TATA car and then rant.

Am happy that nexon is selling big in numbers than brezza and they are bring different consumer level products to market but that won't change the Fact, you might me happy but thats not the case with everyone. I can give the 100s of youtube links owners crying about the quality issues service centres can't able rectify and the brand itself doesn't care about it either.

Yes, TATA is behind these two on after market service, but doesn’t mean there’s a model or car that has no quality issues. I can show a video on how customers of BMW are cursing the vendor. I’m happy to say that TATA and Mahindra are every improving on after market and quality.
In terms of DCA on Altroz, I don’t understand the stupid logic of having a premier gear box on a smaller engine, which I think is Bizzare.

Some people say that Turbo petrols are squeezed for more power with high RPM, so that they are working extra hard, with high wear and tear. Eventually they can lose their steam faster than naturally aspirated or turbo diesel engines. In other words, the engine life for turbo petrol is very less. Is that true? hello moto wagon this is NAVIN. i own a jazz from 2018 .The car is flawless till now such a comfortable car for long rides i saw your underrated cars videos and jazz was mentioned by you. as i saw this video from my prespective owning a jazz is an easy task but fuel economy is very high for this car. honda failed to give a higher CC engine to this car. Just placing BRIO'S engine. Which is a light weighted car to an heavy one. definitely it can't pull and will consume more fuel with passenger in it. And there is a one more con in honda if they give 1.5 litre honda city engine to it. DAMN .. its already a spacious car like honda city and people will choose this one for sure as it is priced low then honda city. as a motto from honda this is the reason why honda discontinued jazz. They gave the same engine for a new body which is already in abroad as HONDA FIT. Honda thought that people in india likes more space and comfort and failed to provide the power and fuel effiency. My conclusion is if honda had provided a feel like engine(Fun to drive car) for jazz as VOLKSWAGEN is providing in a1litre engine with turbo then for sure jazz will hit indian market.(BUT PRICE PLAYS THE MAIN ROLE HERE IN INDIA).

Very clearly explained Asir engineering behind the cars are unimaginable.
Adding a bumper at front and rear also is a treat to safety. I am unhappy with the third party sellers and fitters.
Also I see people sticking sun films at front glass and at the end night visibility goes bad and then they modify the headlamps with more power making opposite vehicle drivers blind.

But now a days driver comfort they looking for automatic, but in the basic model only manual gearbox is giving

I have few question.
1. Will Aftermarket LED bulbs void company warranty? Without tampering OEM wires just plug and play method.
2. PPF or Graphene coating? Do PPF withstand without impacting OEM paint?
3. Under body coating for new vehicle is it needed?

Similar incident happened to me when I went for the test drive of altroz diesel. The dealer said that the diesel model is not available as of now and they offered me the iturbo if at all if I want to get an idea of the car and promised to get the diesel model as soon as possible even at my doorstep. They were genuine and said that the iturbo is not exactly the same as the diesel. Atleast they were brainy enough to not offer the NA petrol in such a situation to a customer 😂
Haha, I have test driven Diesel Altroz. It though felt like EVH gone for huge compromise, power and torque was simply addictive on that

2. Moderate highway usage.
3. Preferably sub 4m suv.
Very simple only three options venue, sonet, Nexon. Petrol variants test drive all three choose one
Maruthi suzuki brezza petrol, well refined engine, best in highway performance. It's suitable for daily usage
As said in the podcast please suggest some best infotainment products.
I have wasted 12 k and the map app was dead slow and product quality was bad. Radio and Bluetooth sound level are different. So many issues
better go for 20k+ infotainments, which has inbuilt satellite navigation
All android stereos are like that l spent 18k and feeling the same...just keep the company fitted oem and use your phone..

I love watching this podcast series.... this discussion amongst you three exposes so much of knowledge around automobiles, and car industry in India :) i just love it and big fan of it :)
The only point i'd like to highlight, and provide a constructive feedback is about saying for example "lady drivers" and then saying they wouldn't know how to handle certain situation/certain equipment/gear/car (AMT in this case), and i've seen you saying similar phrases in other videos as well.
I've seen ladies driving like a pro and i've seen men having difficulties to handle certain situation and freak out.
I've seen ladies liking/preferring big and bold cars, and i've also seen men liking/preferring cute looking and easy drivable small cars.
In short, it is better to explain a situation without involving gender.
Ofcourse you are considering and assuming the "majority" case, but it shows up as "typecast" when speaking in front of large audiences.

After market if we r fixing OE fitment leather steering wheel grip. they r removing the steering wheel completely from the car including airbag.
Is it safe for us ? If any mistakes happen the airbag will not open and this will affect our warranty? Pls clarify me sir

One of your suggestions was get a basic model and later when the financial afforability improves to.improvise the basic car with things like infotainment . But all your car reviews are of top variants . 90% feature dont apply to the basic variant . The viewers get misled because the price quoted is of the basic variant ( often mentioned in the video title page ) and review is of top end variant. Of course i understand reviewing a basic variant u have less content to speak about but atleast viewers should know what is an addon and what is not.

Best sub4m suv - Kia sonet htk+ 10.98L( for people's want features / looks and mileage)
Best hatch bag - i20 asta (0) 10.8L (for people's who wants features but not mileage - comes with sunroof and cruze)
Cheapest and value for money - dezire LXI 9.8L (for people's who want comfort not build quality)
Safest in the segment Tata nexa 10.85L
Cheapest and fun to drive :Swift LXI 8L
Among all this i preferred KIA sonet htk+ as it has good features,looks and mileage and comfort with average build (note :motowagan spoke in their sonet review not to go for 1.2 L petrol not sure they test drive it or not but they should do a review on this engine, seems Kia has done a refinement on this 1.2L on 2022 sonet )
