From what I can guess from the end is that the cliff either means "There's no turning back now so I might as well turn around to go in there as my actual self" or "This is the end and the only other option I have if turning around and going in there doesn't go well" which is considerably much darker.

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or body dysmorphia, is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others. People of any age can have BDD, but it's most common in teenagers and young adults. It affects both men and women. Constantly checking yourself in the mirror. Avoiding mirrors. Trying to hide your body part under a hat, scarf, or makeup. Suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, and completed suicide appear common in individuals with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Available evidence indicates that approximately 80% of individuals with BDD experience lifetime suicidal ideation and 24% to 28% have attempted suicide.

I'd say it's about a trans woman (the picture she puts down in the beginning might be an old one of her) heading to a class reunion (not sure if thats the correct word, not a native english speaker).
As she sit's in the car and that perv is watching her that might have triggered old memories where she was very anxious and always felt that ppl are watching her, the constant feeling of not fitting in, though trying to do so but acting against her true self by doing so. Thus this let her loose herself, let her loose her face (which is an unbelievably frightening feeling, I expierienced that myself and couldn't talk for weeks bcs I was scared of my own voice for example).
She then wanted to put on some lipstick which could be seen as a symbol for her way to feel comfortable with herself, to reassure herself that she is a woman. Panic Attacks or anxiety attacks can come and go very randomly (once had one bcs of a flying leaf, it is what it is) or you could get back to reality through the simplest things. Like arriving at your destinantion or the movement through a car that comes to a stand, just like it is here.
And as she stands at that cliff, she puts on said lipstick and heads confidentely to the meeting as herself.
Thats how I interpreted the film.
I hope what I wrote made any sense.😅
