hi sorry this song has wormed its way through my ears into my brain and i had to explain all of my favorite parts of it/why it's so amazing 💜🔅 - HAKKA CENTER BABYYY - the natural rasp of his voice lends itself so well to metal/rock music - his intentional vibrato at the end of phrases, especially on "given" at 0:59. compared to the natural, slightly shaky vibrato in bettel and flayon's voices, it just oozes vocal control - man has that screamo デスボ like NO ONE'S business - his accent peeking through when he sings is so cute and makes his voice so unique, especially at 2:46 when his voice is softer and at 2:55 when his solo picks up (my fav line of his, idc what the art in this mv says this is SUCH a hakka center omg) 🩷🩵🎩 - 0:391:492:04 the nasal tone in bettel's voice being used as a launchpad to add more grit/growl in the lines. chef's kiss. my fav line of his in this song was 0:39 the first time i listened and it still is. you can REALLY tell he's been improving his voice since he debuted - 2:39 his voice is so gentle/restrained here compared to his other lines and it sounds amazing. my favorite part of this line is the little vocal break at 2:43 on the word "lightning" so that he can sing "start to crash" more softly. so so well done blorbo ❤️🪫 - i LOVE flayon's voice when it comes to rougher music. the little growls at 0:52 and 2:03 are perfect - it's rare to hear him sing in english, and usually in japanese he's focusing so much on the pronunciation of the words, so when he sings in english it almost feels like he puts 100% of his effort into vocal placement and delivery - from the last point, two main examples: 1. compare his wording in 0:46 to the diction of bettel's line before it-there's such an emphasis on the transition from gentleness to grit. and 2. when the boys sing "all of this brings me back to you" in the chorus, you can actually *hear* flayon at 1:18 because his "you" is the open sounding one that you hear a lot in emo/pop punk - 3:00 is my favorite line in the entire song. his energy, the growl, the power he puts into it. the first time i listened to this song this was what made me a machiroon

yeah true, Bettel might have been the most inexperienced singer of them when he started in VG, but whenever he sang, he had SUCH INCREDIBLE emotion in his voice! All he had to practice was hitting the right notes and he became an outstanding singer. I think that's really his strong point, he always sounds fully into it and he never holds back. I love that about his singing!

this is so insanely good i cant stop listening. probably my fav tempus original song so far... utsup obviously killed the composition, junbugp's lyrics match its energy perfectly, youyou's illustrations are gorgeously detailed, and the boys DESTROYED the singing. hakka's passionate and bone chilling screams are right at home in this genre. flayon brings a nice brighter voice texture that enhances the chorus, with a cool angry energy that does a great job of carrying the momentum of the song and giving the other 2 punch when they hop in. and bettel really brought a lot to the song too, from his whinier vocals at 2:03 to his softer parts like 2:39, he did awesome all around and has a great voice for metal! my personal replay buttons: 0:46 1:49 1:56 2:03 (the backing parts here too are just too cool. wow.)

yeah true, Bettel might have been the most inexperienced singer of them when he started in VG, but whenever he sang, he had SUCH INCREDIBLE emotion in his voice!
All he had to practice was hitting the right notes and he became an outstanding singer. I think that's really his strong point, he always sounds fully into it and he never holds back. I love that about his singing!

this is so insanely good i cant stop listening. probably my fav tempus original song so far... utsup obviously killed the composition, junbugp's lyrics match its energy perfectly, youyou's illustrations are gorgeously detailed, and the boys DESTROYED the singing. hakka's passionate and bone chilling screams are right at home in this genre. flayon brings a nice brighter voice texture that enhances the chorus, with a cool angry energy that does a great job of carrying the momentum of the song and giving the other 2 punch when they hop in. and bettel really brought a lot to the song too, from his whinier vocals at 2:03 to his softer parts like 2:39, he did awesome all around and has a great voice for metal!

I’ve had no words to describe how much i love this song because i just keep listening to it over and over. I have soo many favorite parts, Hakka’s insane opening vocals, that absolute monster of a breakdown, etc., but the main thing i love about this song is how closely connected it is to Hakka on a personal level; to be able to get to a level in your craft where you’re singing a song produced by the person who inspired you to start singing / screaming in the first place is something most people can only dream of.
I am proud of Tempus, proud of Bettel, proud of Flayon, so so so proud of Hakka !!! I will never feel shame to call myself a tempura when all of these boys are so talented and dedicated ❤️🔥🍤💀🌎 !!!
