I Am Ground is a Korean game. This definitely has a parallel world because there are two versions of themselves and as you notice they're walking on the upside world. There are lots of ode to old M/V. Can't wait for this album!!
These are theories that I've gathered from other STAYs about the trailer: Felix reads, "I am ground" it was a reference to the game where you introduce yourselves. The trailer really cemented the idea that Stray Kids plan to reintroduce themselves, or rather break the stereotypes given to them. The train abstract in Han's scene seems to be a Maniac parallel (during the floating train in brain) and how it links to the angel number of thriving (it's flying, quite literal too) so Han says if "it isnt like that" (as in going off track and taking off from the ground) then he "won't do it". Felix's gumball scene fits the "swallowing your given persona" since it's pretty random among many tropes the company could give you and the track change fits that "change in personality" with how Felix is skipping and all that until he stumbled on I am Ground to introduce himself, his TRUE self because as you say, the industry puts them in a pedestal and "I Am Ground" offers that platform of introduction (RE-introduction, since the players in the game will name themselves) I.N as the angel in museum fits the "adorable maknae" stereotype like how Hyunjin's angel's number fit his predebut persistence, cant grasp on how personal the other concepts are except maybe Seungmin's beat the system irl attitude. I also wanna add that in this trailer there's a lot of tributes from their past works. I.N's scene here where he had the wings, could be a tribute to Blueprint (if I'm not mistaken). Hyunjin painting (with red paint also), reminded me of Maxidebt trailer where he also paints using red. Changbin holding the bat, reminded me of NoEasy trailer when he was provoking (?) the Sound Monster. Chan playing the piano, reminds me of their "The Sound" MV, where he also plays instruments.
That does make sense if you think of I.N standing with the wings on his back and then saying "I'm I.N" and breaking them. As if "not an angel cute maknae, just me" Also Lee know saying he's cute and the haters used to say he's cold and such. Seungmin with a rebellious image going against the adorable dandi puppy
Chan with a bomb as in a time limit and not being able to produce a song and then getting mad when he's know as a genius producer and don't get mad. Changbin with his strong image and saying he's Melo (but then breaks everything. Maybe he can have both sides, he can be a Melo while still being strong? As in he's tired of choosing one?)
"I am ground" is a game that you introduce yourself. For ex. "I am ground, introduce myself~ I am Stay" then other players introduce themselves, after everyone is done you start calling out someone's name (used in their introduction), For ex. You say "Stay 4" then I repeat my name 4 times and keep it on beat.
There is so much happening in that trailer that can link to SO MANY things from the past. Not just the past music videos, but other content as well. The gumball machine full of odd things (Because it wasn't just candy) seems to reference the vending machine that Changbin & Chan had to get the key out of in the haunted school episode of SKZCode. I.N being in what looks like a museum references both Chill and Back Door, and the thing they did where each member was in a cordoned off spot & the other members poked at them, like they were an exhibit. Changbin holding a spiked bat like in the No Easy trailer, but also having different BGM that he had complained that Hyunjin had in that. The umbrella Changbin holds as he is in artificial "rain" is reminiscent of the one he held while Felix poured water over him in Chill. And the pose he did is reminiscent of the one Han did in the Maxident trailer. The phone conversation that made Changbin sad is reminiscent of Winter Falls. The bomb Chan holds is reminiscent of the one he holds in the intro for Finding SKZ Gods Edition. There is a elephant trumpet during the final scene of them walking down the building that sounds like the one they used in Circus. In the poster of the flying train behind Han (which in itself references the one that is in Maniac and a lot of Ghibli ascetics. We know they love Ghibli) there is a shape of a tower. Some people have said it is the shape of the Eiffel Tower, but it's not. I just realized while looking at a aerial shot of the Han River where the fashion show was held, there is a tower that was lit up beautifully. It's the same shape as the one on the billboard. That's overlooking the Han River. There are so many references to "super". There is super ice cream, super scanner, and my brain has shut itself down on remembering any more. Also the 5 references everywhere. Han has 5 "piercings" above his eyebrow. There are 5 stars on the jacket Hyunjin paints. There are 5 cherubs around I.N. (Not to mention that in Maknea on Top, there were 5 stars everywhere in that as well. How long were they planning this?) Chan not only dressed like a character from League Of Legends, but he did a pose that one did in a trailer for LoL. Seungmin drove up to the drive in with a construction machine that was last seen in Gods Menu. The fireworks at the end of the trailer are extremely reminiscent of the very first stage they did. I have no clue what is written on the building they are walking down in the caution tape, but those are too much like a pattern to be fully random. I'm reminded of the escape room episode of SKZ Code where Chan & Felix had a clue written in tape on the outside of their bared door. Hyunjin was in a suit shop reminiscent of Give Me Your TMI. The 644 code is a guardian angel code. Hyunjin always calls Felix his Angel. I.N having the angel wings framing him like the angel wings that fram Hyunjin in Blueprint. The sideways city that used to be the upside-down city from Hellevator, Side Effects, and Maniac. There is just too much, in too short of a time.....My brain is in overload......Just...So much.
Thank you for putting all of this into words. It's been floating around in my brain since the trailer dropped, and has honestly been giving me a headache with trying to keep track of it all and piecing it together 😅
@@xSassyVillainx I keep finding new stuff to add to that list. And we will never know till the album is out what is important to remember. And some of the things might even be hints to future stuff. I mean. In the Oddinary trailer, there is a clock by Han. It has the time in 24 hour time. There is one brief instance where the time was different. And the time is the date 5 Star is coming out.....So....We never know.

I think... and I could be wrong... but I think I am ground is a game where you introduce yourself or something. But it's like a game. I think that's one reason why a lot of people don't quite understand a little of it because a lot don't know that's a korean game or something like that (and if I'm wrong someone please correct me).
its okay christopher's scene birthed an entire cult so you're not alone on this
He broke my bias so hard that day and I’m totally okay with this

LEE FELIX THE CROP TOP AND THE FRECKLES AND IF YOU DON'T PUT THAT TONGUE AWAY!!! So help my sanity for this comeback 😩😩

Oh yeah, I was just shocked too. They’re so creative. Can’t wait for this.
Seungmin killed everyone and that's okay 😂❤
